  • OMG- just PERFECT!

"This was the PERFECT place to stay! Beth has done an incredible job on restoring this house. It has a great home feel and there was not anything that we needed. She even got us a high chair to use for our grandson. The house was perfect for 5 adults and a 1 yr old; and great distance to visit New Orleans and Mobile, AL. The beach was a great addition and a nice short walk- and not crazy packed where we could relax and enjoy the ocean with our grandson. There was a great front porch and back deck to enjoy also! Thank you Beth for an amazing week- and Gary and I are talking about visiting again soon!"

  • Absolutely gorgeous!

"The communication with Ms. Claudia was wonderful. She is a gem. The condo had more than I could have ever asked for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. It's beautiful, the furnishings were gorgeous, the beds were comfy. I literally had to bring nothing but myself. It was super clean and the views are amazing. The pool access right outside the door was perfect for my little one. My family and I will definitely be staying here again! I can't thank you enough!!"

  • One Amazing Place to Vacation!!!

"This house was completely Amazing!!! We rented it for a week and everyone was sorry when it was time to leave. There was room for all of us and then some and the pool was the icing on the cake. My nieces and nephew could get enough of the pool. We had an amazing July 4th, just sitting on the beach watching fireworks and it was such a close drive ( approx. 3 mins to Waveland Beach ). The pictures simply do not do this house justice by any means and Ms. Denise was a pleasure to rent from. We will certainly be renting this house again and again and again. Thank you so much, Ms. Denise, for opening your beautiful home to me and my family It was the best family vacation we have had, yet."

  • Perfect for the Family Get Together

"We rented this house because we were coming in town for a family reunion. We brought along our 4 grandchildren ages 1, 7, 15 & 17. Later my adult daughter joined us. There was enough space and rooms for everyone! There was even a pack & play for the 1 yr old to sleep in. The kids loved the loft! Everything was just as advertised. The grass was a little high when we arrived, but all it took was an email to the owners and someone was out the very next morning to cut the grass. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. All the appliances are very up to date. Of course the home is lived in. It's not perfect and nor did we expect it to be. Yes some of the slipcovers on the sofas were ripped, but it is not enough to lessen our enjoyment of the house. In addition to bring your own food supplies, get some extra toilet paper because there was very little there when we arrived. Glad I had some baby wipes to get us through the first night! We can't wait for the next time!"

Mississippi Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Visit Mississippi

Mississippi enjoys a long summer and relatively short winter. This makes it a popular summer vacation destination. While most people still tend to travel during the peak holiday season of July and August, the longer summer season means that you can still enjoy good weather outside of peak season. In the summer months, the temperatures average around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month is traditionally July. During the winter months, the temperatures average 48 degrees Fahrenheit, with the coldest month being January. The northern interior is generally more temperate that the coastal areas. Occasional snowfalls are not uncommon in the central and northern parts; however, it is seldom significant amounts and it usually quickly melts away. Most of the rainfall occurs during the summer months in the form of short-lived but dramatic thunderstorms. The Gulf Coast is particularly prone to hurricanes that blow across the Gulf of Mexico in the late summer and early fall months. The interior of the state usually gets the dregs of the tropical storms which results in heavy rainfall.

Music Legends at Mississippi Condos

Mississippi has a rich cultural heritage. Like its neighboring states, it has a strong music tradition with the signature music style being the Blues. In Clarksdale, you will find the Delta Blues Museum where you can see memorabilia and photographs of some of the great Blues legends. There are also numerous Blues Bars across the state where you can hear your favorite tune. Tupelo, which is in northeast Mississippi, is the birthplace of Elvis Presley. Here, you can tour his childhood home which is a humble two-room house. Next door is a museum which contains many different memorabilia items that detail his life. You can also take a stroll through town and see the fairgrounds where he performed early in his career or the hardware store where he bought his first guitar. For country music fans, you can visit Meridian which is the hometown of Jimmy Rogers. The Jimmy Rogers Museum in town pays tribute to this country music legend.

Visitors to Mississippi

Mississippi is a state that attracts a diverse range of visitors. Many come to visit the museums attributed to music legends but the state has much more to offer. It has a rich historical heritage with many museums. There are also many excellent golf courses where golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round. The natural attractions are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts that enjoy hiking, mountain biking or RV-ing.
