"We have to give 5 stars for everything - Jeannie as a hostess, the cottage, the location, and Ocean Springs. We had a difficult travel day, planning to arrive around 4:00 PM, but because of a flat tire and having to be towed to get it fixed, we arrived as weary travelers at 10:30 PM. It was so nice to walk in the door to such a wonderful accommodation. Jeannie knew we were arriving late, and had so thoughtfully turned on lights for us and had the cottage cooled for our arrival. She is such a thoughtful person and checked on us the day after to make sure all was well at the cottage and to see if we needed any help with dinner reservations or information about the area. We only stayed two nights but the cottage was wonderful - very spacious, nicely decorated and immaculately clean. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and the private wooded view. We loved Ocean Springs and spent a lot of time just riding around looking at the beautiful homes and views of the beach and marshes. If you like pottery, don't miss stopping by Shearwater Pottery at 102 Shearwater Drive, and be sure to see their museum and gallery. For dinner, we really enjoyed Anthony's Under the Oaks. The food and service were excellent, and the sunset view is not to be missed. I highly recommend Camellia Cottage for your vacation stay, no matter how long or short your stay. Hope to see you again soon, Jeannie!"Guest: VickieB Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 16, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cottage, so close to everything we wanted to do, Bay St Louis Old Town, and the boat launch so we could go out to ship island. The home was wonderful! We felt very comfortable and at home here. The size was perfect for our group and the kids especially loved the trundle bed! The beds were so comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise, we're so used to uncomfortable beds whenever we're away from home, but not here! We will most likely return to this home in the future. The owner was very nice and helpful and even mailed some of my belongings back to me that I'd left behind. Thanks for that! I would definitely recommend this cozy cottage to family and friends!"Guest: Shey Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 12, 2014View listing
"Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location and general experience at the condo. I was not impressed with the cleanliness, my son (21 months) found tortillas in a drawer of the table that had an expiration date of March 2014, we were there in July. The bed in one of the rooms was really squeaky and the Mattress was horrible.. The toilet was also running the whole time, to where my husband turned off the water so we could sleep. The location was amazing and we loved the pool. I think that next time I'll find a different condo."Guest: A guest from Katy, TX Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 6, 2014View listing
"We enjoyed this spacious home with our two kids very much. The home was clean and had lots of room to spread out unlike a hotel. The beds were very soft and comfy. The house felt safe and was ideally located around services. We enjoyed bumming around the many beaches and coastal towns. Our deposit was refunded in a short few days and Diane was kind enough to let me know we had left something behind and mailed it along with our refund check. Thanks Diane."Guest: M, L, J, and W Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
