"We had a wonderful weekend, perfect location, perfect weather, and perfect accomadations.
Fishing (serious fishing anyway) was a little slow but that could have been due to our "live handicaps". This was more of a "end of season" family get away and that is what it was! We had several small children and while adults attempted some fishing from the banks the kids played on the bank from the time they got up in the morning until late in the afternoon. Untangled more lines than you could count. We took family group photos with the bluffs in the background. The property was clean and very well maintained, everything one would need was available. There was a huge lady bug hatch that caused quite a stir one afternoon but that just added to the weekend. Enjoyed the fire pit. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again. May have to consider and additional trip for adults only and "serious" fishing."

Giant hidden gem in Branson - perfect for large groups
"Tucked inside a very off-the-beaten path area, this home is spacious, extremely well furnished, and perfect for large groups or multiple families.
I hosted an business retreat here and we enjoyed the multiple gathering areas upstairs and down, the view of the lake, the outdoor patio, and of course the giant kitchen with almost every pan, pot, and utensil you'd ever need...and two (much appreciated) coffee makers! The extra-large dining room table allowed us to share meals together without needing to spread around the house. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are fully stocked with plenty of towels. There are several pull-out beds and even a few air mattresses too.
All the floors are wooden and it would be nice to have a few carpets to make sitting on the floor more comfortable. I would be a bit concerned about getting to the property in the winter if the weather is bad considering the gravel roads are steep and curvy. The internet connection was not the fastest but was still reliable, which is surprising given the rural location. Cell phone service is not so great.
The owner was great to work with and the reservation process was quick and painless. We're definitely looking forward to staying at the Red Elk Lodge again!"

"Spacious, upper end unit with nice floor plan, well appointed, great location, and a great view from the balcony overlooking pond and golf course. Quiet setting. I would absolutely stay here again. Our 4th time at Branson and still haven't seen everything. We just started using VRBO (our 3rd time) and have not been disappointed yet."

"We had a nice 4 days in Branson staying at Judy and Phil's condo. Their condo is very comfortable and has a lot of extras down to condiments and spices in the cabinets! We were able to get to 3 shows (best was Legend in Concert), played miniature golf and rode High Rise go carts. Had some good meals - especially White River Fish House and Mel's Hard Luck Diner (cute!) Thanks for fitting us into your busy rental schedule!"
