  • Quiet, clean, and oh-so-chic!

"5 moms looking for a quiet escape had a grand time on the island! The condo was ultra cute, clean, and comfortable with a fantastic view of the main channel. The owner, Paula, was super nice and quick to respond to our pleas for help. She provided information about rentals, good places to eat, and the ferry. This condo is a deal and the ferry (which will be replaced with a land bridge in fall, 2014, I understand) is a fun adventure! Just plan your trips off on the island to leave at the top of the hour. Or stay on the island the whole time, like we did! If you are going to be doing any extra fancy cooking, you might want to bring any special supplies you may need. The kitchen is nicely equipped with basic supplies (blender, toaster, measuring cups and spoons, cheese grater, some bowls, a few cutting knives, a few pans, cooking spoons and spatulas, some cooking glassware, a can opener, cutting mats, a few food storage containers, spoons, forks, knives, plates, glasses, plastic cups -- almost all the basic supplies!). We wished we had packed a wine opener (which the condo typically has and Paula kindly offered to bring out to us (!!), but we found a helpful neighbor instead). The condo also provides 4 beach towels, kitchen towels, plenty of bath towels, some reusable grocery bags, sample sizes of shampoo and soap, a little bottle of liquid dish soap, a roll of paper towels, a couple dishwasher soap packs, and some fabric soap*. If you're staying longer than a weekend, you might want to pack trash bags, toilet paper, more dishwasher soap packs, a bigger bottle of liquid dish soap, extra paper towels, more dishwasher soap packs, and more laundry supplies. *Some of these may have been left over from a previous renter. I don't want to claim that the home-owner will always provide these things! The pool is very nice with a great view of the lake and a kid-friendly zero-entry end. The beach chairs a bit short on number (especially on Saturday) and there is no shade, so if you are inclined, we recommend throwing in that beach umbrella and a couple of chairs. We had a GREAT time relaxing on the deck (that's where we ate our meals), sleeping in, vegging by the pool, and generally enjoying ourselves. Other condo-owners were nice and helpful. I highly recommend this condo as a fun, relaxing place to stay! We're hoping to go back next time we're at the lake!"

  • Love this place

"We love this place, it suits our style. Great location, ease to get into the water with small cove and floating swim deck. Very comfortable and attractive furnishings and landscaping. We come back year after year."

  • Clean, comfortable and a great owner to work with

"I stayed at Three Pine Cabin for 5 days of kayaking. The location was great to kayak 3 streams, Courtois, Huzzah and Meramec. The cabin is wonderfully quiet since it is located a mile down a private gravel road yet close to town for supplies. We ate outdoors each evening. The deck is actually quite large and the car port served us well during a late afternoon rain. We could walk to the Meramec river from the cabin. My first impression of the cabin was how clean it was. The beds comfortable and the air conditioning much appreciated. Sheila was very accommodating during the entire process. We will definitely be back."

"Home was everything described and them some. Home has everything you need, so just bring clothes and food. Had a chance to spend a couple of hours with the owner on our first day and she was very helpful on shopping, restaurants and other services. The Go To Book she also has at the home is extremely complete. Absolutely no issues during our 30 day stay. Neighbors also very helpful. Beautiful setting with a view of the lake and the fall colors were stunning. I am a bass fisherman and Table Rock is a lake not to be missed. Rented again in 2015 for a month and probably will every year. Only caution is the VERY steep driveway that elderly and those with disabilities need to be aware of."
