  • Too bad everything isn't this easy

"Scheduling, finding, parking, accessing and making yourself at home was never easier. We walked to eat both nights and also walked to coffee and the city market. The furnishings were very comfortable. They might want to hide that 1996 cab in the wine rack from me next time as i sure didn't feel right drinking such a great bottle, but maybe more bold next time!!! The loft is a great and easy place to stay."

  • Perfect spot

"This was the perfect touch-down spot for our weekend trip to Kansas City. Walkable to everything, comfortable, stylish. We spent much of our time on the balcony, when we weren't out and about exploring the city. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

  • A Remarkable Alternative to a Hotel

"I visited this well-equipped Harbortown Villa rental accompanied by my Wife and our four-year-old Daughter. We were scouting local hotels for a brief trip to Kansas City, Missouri for the July 4th holiday, but we just knew that a cramped hotel room was certainly not what we had in mind. Thankfully, we came across this delightful condo located central to many of the nearby attractions (The zoo, the Country Club Plaza, etc.). Everything we did on our trip was only 10-20 minutes away from the condo! That was a big plus considering the size of the city. The space is 'as advertised', and I found it smartly equipped with clean hand towels, hand soaps, pots & pans, extra blankets, etc. Every basic amenity was available in the unit, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our time from the moment we stepped into the door. The unit was clean with newer finishing’s (carpet, trim, doors, etc.), and the kitchen is somewhat small, yet oh so very cozy :o) The only reason I withheld a star from this rating is that, the parking situation requires a brief walk down a slight decline and around to the front of the unit via a sidewalk - a minor inconvenience. There is also room for improvement in the living room as far as seating goes; it served us well enough, however we found ourselves wishing that there were a larger sofa available, and at least one end table (or coffee table) on which to place a drink. Also, I'm not sure if the fireplace works, but I do know that none of the light switches would turn it on; it was July (very warm), so I didn't inquire further about it. Management was very helpful and friendly. We had difficulty logging into the wireless internet upon arriving, but one call to the office took care of that problem within minutes. I also appreciate the effort made by management to decorate each room; although noticeably done on a budget, the décor was tasteful and helped make it feel more like home. I’m so happy that we were able to enjoy this neat condo, and I’d certainly return!"

  • Getaway with female friends

"The cottage offered the opportunity for 6 women to get away for a weekend in KC. Near the Plaza and West Port for shopping and eating fun but good eating establishments in walking distance. Patio area was relaxing and fun in Springtime weather. Beds are comfortable and great to have a living room to socialize. Some repairs to front steps were in process when we were there. Just a little treacherous at that time but should be finished soon. Driveway is steep but not unmanageable. (We were all 55+.)"
