Clean and Comfortable!
"My family enjoyed a very pleasant stay earlier this month when we visited the area to attend our son's graduation from Army Basic Training 55 minutes away at Ft Leonard Wood.
I selected this property based on the other reviews I read and the value it presented as a lake front 3 BR and was not disappointed. Everything was clean, everything you needed was there and a very pleasant owner in Pat made the property one I would recommend for anyone visiting the Camdenton area."

"Kinderhook Castle was a beautiful property to hold the Writers Workshop for breast cancer survivors. The views out of the windows were magnificent. I am looking forward to holding other types of retreats at this location. Thank you Maureen for the amazing attention to details and for your prompt service!"

"A very nice place with nice furnishings and good view. The labor day weekend we were there was very hot, yet the main level stayed nice. The upper level was a little warmer but it was 95 during the day, so we just cranked up the AC a little more and adjusted the vents accordingly. It worked out well for our family of 6 adults. The boat slip was convenient for us to rent a boat, then park it in the slip during lunch and to pick up our "kids" after they slept in. Most of the resort it seems are permanent residents and in whole it was very quiet. The pool was nice, we played cards on the deck there. Nice walking sidewalks around the complex. I was able to climb down the rip-rap to drop a line in under the highway bridge, and also there was some limited fishing off of the end of the boat docks. This unit you do have to climb up 2 flights from the parking lot, and then another two down to the lake/pool level. So as long as you can take stairs, it works out great."
