"We really enjoyed your house. It had everything we needed for an amazing 5 days. It was super clean and comfortable. We loved the built in BBQ grill and paddle boat. We definitely will rent from you again next year. Thanks for a wonderful week with my kids and grandkids!"

"This home was just right for our extended family get together! Roomy great room, great dock, fire pit, and sitting area on waters edge, great location, spent 7 nights here with 5 adults and 2 children.
everything was better than described, very stocked kitchen, had everything we needed to make meals easily! Brand New Woods Grocery was close enough to go several times during the week, Beautiful deck, and dock area, with comfotable patio furniture, spent most mornings and evenigs relaxing there watching the kids jump off the dock. Fished and caught a few Crappies off the dock, the girls were so excited. Took our Pontoon over to Captain Rons for lunch 1 day. Really good food and service. All beds were very comfortable. Cove is very quiet and relaxing even on the weekend. We Also spent a day hiking and seeing the sights in Ha Ha Tonka Park. It's a wonderful deviation from lake activites, so much history in the area. Be sure to read through the welcome binder in the great room, it has alot of great information for your stay. Oh by the way a brand new Grill was delivered during our stay, Yay, grilled several meals on the house deck. We would love to return at some point (like maybe next week, Lol)"

"This was my message to Randy about our stay last year. I would like to share it with everybody.
Our family really enjoyed our time at the lake and your house was a huge
part of that enjoyment. The views from the deck and dining room areas of
the wildlife, activities on the lake and of the lake and surrounding scenery
were spectacular. Swimming off your dock was a lot of fun for all. Even
with 7 adults and 3 children, the house felt very spacious.
My oldest son, 35 this August 30th, had a comment and reaction when we
first got there I felt was humorous and think you will find humor, and
pride, in it also. He gets out of the car and states in a disgruntled
voice, "This is not what I envisioned!" I told him what you had said about
the road side of the house not being the focal point. When he got inside
and saw the fantastic, wide angled view of the lake he stated in a thrilled
voice, "Now THIS is what I am talking about!"
Your manager, Mark, is a very personable person and was very thorough when
going over the necessities of the boat. We enjoyed the boat and didn't have
any issues with it at all.
It was a very pleasant, relaxing trip and we would like to reserve it for
next year also.
Thank you, John Foster"
That was after our return last summer. We will be heading that way again in a little over 2 months and we are all very excited about the trip. It has been almost a year since we were last there and we still talk about what a wonderful time we had and just how enjoyable, and comfortable the house was."

"My husband, daughter,my in-laws and I went to the Cozy Cottage for a get away. The girls were excited about the shopping and the guys were excited to go fishing. We did shopping but they didn't get to fish at the cottage at all. What the overview doesn't tell you is the dock is SHARED. At thee time we were there, the cabin right next door had a LARGE amount of people staying in it and they COMPLETELY took over the dock ALL DAY LONG into the evening. Leaving the guys no choice but to go below the Bagnell Dam to fish. This cost them $6.00 EVERY time they went fishing. There is a community bridge with a $3.00 charge from April-October after that is is $2.00 each way. Plan your trips wisely or you will be paying a lot in tolls. There is a very nice gas station/ convenient store right down the road. There is also a very nice grocery store in Sunrise Beach (about 15 minutes away)
Now onto the Cozy Cottage. It is very nice, well kept and clean. It is very comfortable and has about everything you would need. Shades on the sliding doors would be very nice as there is no privacy in the bedroom at all and the living room would be very bright in the morning.Thank goodness I had a couple extra sheets with me (my daughter likes to cover up with them in the car) and we hung those up on the sliders. When we were there it was rather hot so we had the window air conditioner running the whole time. There are ceiling fans in every room which helped but it was still warm in the bedrooms. The bathroom is nice with a large shower. The kitchen is nice and had pretty much anything you would need except a sink stopper. We had to use a large bowl with soap and water in it to wash dishes.
Overall I wouldn't stay here again because of the shared dock. We were not told it was shared until after we arrived and I asked. This ruined the whole reason I choose this cottage. I'm very sorry to say this because the cottage is very nice and Loretta is just as nice, but like I said fishing on the dock was the main reason I choose this cottage. We weren't able to really swim either with the crowd of people that took over the dock. If the dock is shared I feel like it should be stated on this site and signs should be on the dock to say is shared and be courteous to others. We honestly had no time on the dock during the day, we had to go out after 7:30 or so."
