"There were 16 of us at the "lost weekend" house. Nice accommodations. Large kitchen and separate bungalow was perfect for one family with smaller (napping) children. Large shaded area between house and dock for outside games. No steps to get in the house or to the dock for mature adults. Great access to boat rentals and grocery store."

"My husband, daughter,my in-laws and I went to the Cozy Cottage for a get away. The girls were excited about the shopping and the guys were excited to go fishing. We did shopping but they didn't get to fish at the cottage at all. What the overview doesn't tell you is the dock is SHARED. At thee time we were there, the cabin right next door had a LARGE amount of people staying in it and they COMPLETELY took over the dock ALL DAY LONG into the evening. Leaving the guys no choice but to go below the Bagnell Dam to fish. This cost them $6.00 EVERY time they went fishing. There is a community bridge with a $3.00 charge from April-October after that is is $2.00 each way. Plan your trips wisely or you will be paying a lot in tolls. There is a very nice gas station/ convenient store right down the road. There is also a very nice grocery store in Sunrise Beach (about 15 minutes away)
Now onto the Cozy Cottage. It is very nice, well kept and clean. It is very comfortable and has about everything you would need. Shades on the sliding doors would be very nice as there is no privacy in the bedroom at all and the living room would be very bright in the morning.Thank goodness I had a couple extra sheets with me (my daughter likes to cover up with them in the car) and we hung those up on the sliders. When we were there it was rather hot so we had the window air conditioner running the whole time. There are ceiling fans in every room which helped but it was still warm in the bedrooms. The bathroom is nice with a large shower. The kitchen is nice and had pretty much anything you would need except a sink stopper. We had to use a large bowl with soap and water in it to wash dishes.
Overall I wouldn't stay here again because of the shared dock. We were not told it was shared until after we arrived and I asked. This ruined the whole reason I choose this cottage. I'm very sorry to say this because the cottage is very nice and Loretta is just as nice, but like I said fishing on the dock was the main reason I choose this cottage. We weren't able to really swim either with the crowd of people that took over the dock. If the dock is shared I feel like it should be stated on this site and signs should be on the dock to say is shared and be courteous to others. We honestly had no time on the dock during the day, we had to go out after 7:30 or so."

"This house was amazing! Plenty of room for a family get together. Their were 15 and three different families involved. The kids had a great time! We plan on coming back as long as they let renters come. Truly breath taking views!"

"To start with Pattie is great to work with getting everything set up. Pattie also made sure to remind us we had more people then beds but we bought air mattresses and everything was great. We had some last minute changes and she handled them with ease. When we arrived the house was more than we had expected. The beds are very comfortable. The house and trailer is very clean. Open kitchen dinning and living room with sliding doors to view the lake. Could not of asked for better. The deck on both levels give you great views of the lake. We had family from the ages of 5 months to 71 years old and not one person was board. the hot tubs were used every night. What is great is that Woods grocery store is a very short distance away. This is a Christmas gift that was to us from our parents and we will have many many memories from here to keep in our hearts. every year our family keeps growing and getting bigger but we all still look forward to the yearly trip we take together that her parents give us a Christmas. Thank you Patty and Lee who we now consider friends for us to be able to have these great memories of our family time together thank you thank you thank you"
