"We had 13 family members (seven between the ages of 5 and 15) for a getaway at the Lake - the only one with any Lake of the Ozarks experience was me.
I'll start with this: we had an outstanding time.
The houses were pretty clean and comfortable. The cove is quiet and peaceful, at least it was until we arrived with seven between the ages of 5 and 15. We rented a boat and a waverunner, and the dock* served us well.
*Two docks exist, but one sustained damage in a storm a couple days before we arrived. The owner was quick to inform me of this.
The kids loved the swing rope and floating around in the no-wake cove. First-time boaters and tubers were at ease as I took them around the "quiet side." Sitting on the decks when the weather allowed it was a highlight for all of us early-morning-coffee-drinkers. The dock is just a series of steps down the hill. It was just so easy to enjoy the Lake here - both for someone who has spent large chunks of time here and for the 12 people with me who haven't.
I would absolutely rent here again.
Other minor notes:
The Wi-Fi was a little wonky at times, and cell service is naturally spotty. Channels were never available on one of the cable boxes*, which was only a real issue on the night it stormed while we were there. Sure, the kids were terrified of not having electronic devices or TV, but eh.
*I'm confident the owner would have addressed this if I had called, but I never had service when we tried the TV. In the grand scheme, this is exceptionally minor. I was asked to note it, so I am."

"We really enjoyed your house. It had everything we needed for an amazing 5 days. It was super clean and comfortable. We loved the built in BBQ grill and paddle boat. We definitely will rent from you again next year. Thanks for a wonderful week with my kids and grandkids!"

"My husband, daughter,my in-laws and I went to the Cozy Cottage for a get away. The girls were excited about the shopping and the guys were excited to go fishing. We did shopping but they didn't get to fish at the cottage at all. What the overview doesn't tell you is the dock is SHARED. At thee time we were there, the cabin right next door had a LARGE amount of people staying in it and they COMPLETELY took over the dock ALL DAY LONG into the evening. Leaving the guys no choice but to go below the Bagnell Dam to fish. This cost them $6.00 EVERY time they went fishing. There is a community bridge with a $3.00 charge from April-October after that is is $2.00 each way. Plan your trips wisely or you will be paying a lot in tolls. There is a very nice gas station/ convenient store right down the road. There is also a very nice grocery store in Sunrise Beach (about 15 minutes away)
Now onto the Cozy Cottage. It is very nice, well kept and clean. It is very comfortable and has about everything you would need. Shades on the sliding doors would be very nice as there is no privacy in the bedroom at all and the living room would be very bright in the morning.Thank goodness I had a couple extra sheets with me (my daughter likes to cover up with them in the car) and we hung those up on the sliders. When we were there it was rather hot so we had the window air conditioner running the whole time. There are ceiling fans in every room which helped but it was still warm in the bedrooms. The bathroom is nice with a large shower. The kitchen is nice and had pretty much anything you would need except a sink stopper. We had to use a large bowl with soap and water in it to wash dishes.
Overall I wouldn't stay here again because of the shared dock. We were not told it was shared until after we arrived and I asked. This ruined the whole reason I choose this cottage. I'm very sorry to say this because the cottage is very nice and Loretta is just as nice, but like I said fishing on the dock was the main reason I choose this cottage. We weren't able to really swim either with the crowd of people that took over the dock. If the dock is shared I feel like it should be stated on this site and signs should be on the dock to say is shared and be courteous to others. We honestly had no time on the dock during the day, we had to go out after 7:30 or so."

"We came with our children and their families and in-laws (our once a year guaranteed get-together)- there was 15 of us. We loved this house - plenty of room for people to spread out when they needed some quiet time and space for all of us to gather together to play cards or visit, sit on the dock or swim. Loved the view. Enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Palm Breeze is very easy to get to. Even though the weather did not cooperate with us for a couple days, we enjoyed swimming, boat rides, and going to all our favorite places like Ozark BarBQ and Frank and Louie's. I would recommend this house for anyone - although a lot of steps if you have trouble with mobility. Ken was wonderful to work with."
