  • Sister Vacation

"The condo was clean and as pictured. The king beds in each room were nice. In a great location....near the resort beach and small pool with a gazebo and grills."

  • Wonderful for a large group

"We recently rented all three properties on "the hill", Stone Cottage, Brick House, Bicentennial for our family and friends attending my daughter's wedding. They were convenient to restaurants, wineries, and shops in Hermann. Steve was marvelous to work with. He was very responsive and contacted me immediately when I emailed or called. Each house has a key box with a code so everyone could come and go easily and Steve was so nice to let us arrive early and leave late. Each house was generously stocked with soda, bottled water, coffee, tea, popcorn. It was great being close together and I was able to host 25 people for breakfast at the Stone Cottage. We could fit about 14 outside under the pergola with others scattered about the patio, the garden and inside. Flowers and the view made outside extra lovely. Each house has it's own charm and quirks. Stone Cottage was the oldest and best. Beautiful bedrooms, very clean, lots of towels, Steve even put an extra coffee maker in the dining room for us. Too bad we couldn't find any sugar. VERY steep stairs. The private suite downstairs was newer and great for more seclusion. Jetted tub in the other downstairs bathroom with cool tin walls. Because of all the stone the wi-fi was a little iffy in places. The Brick House next door was fine except for the antique dresser that collapsed when a drawer was barely opened but Steve was very gracious and told us not to worry about it. Good places to gather in the living room and on the deck. There was an extra twin bed in the loft for our cousin's granddaughter. The partitioned twin beds in the lower level worked well for our single cousins but another single cousin found the sofa bed uncomfortable until she put the cushions back on. She also had to come over to the Stone Cottage for an extra quilt. The Bicentennial across the street was used by a collection of friends who didn't know each other previously and there was a bit of awkwardness especially with the bathrooms. One bedroom had its own ensuite but the other bathroom on that level only had a toilet and sink, no shower. So everyone else had to trek to the lowest level where the shower was a little scary. In the laundry room, quite dark, odd mismatched tile. We didn't use the downstairs party room much but there was a second kitchen and the ping pong table was fun. No good place to gather outside but there was a glassed-in space by the carport where we could have carried out chairs. Great houses for a family reunion."
