"Our family had a great week at the house, which is awesome with incredible lake views. We had 9 adults & 2 little ones in our group from MO, OK and TX. We rented a pontoon one day which we could tie up at the shoreline. We loved using the kayaks and aqua lily pad. (It’s a rather steep climb from the house to the lake, but my niece was able to do it while carrying an 8 month old.) We spent part of one day at Silver Dollar City, but the rest of the time we just enjoyed the lake and hot tub, cooking & eating, watching movies, playing shuffleboard and the arcade games. I am still a little mad I wasn’t able to beat my nephew’s top score on Ms. Pac-Man. The only thing the daily rain - unusual for the first week in June- put a damper on was making s’mores around the fire pit … which gives us a reason to come back ... which we are already talking about. A highly recommended vacation destination!!"Guest: CindyB Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 9, 2014View listing
"Our family of 9 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids had plenty of space for both time together and private quiet times. The wall of tall windows in the living room made it so inviting, with an inspiring view of trees, hills and lake. The screened in porch on the main level was such a pleasant space, open to both the west and north, so there was often a breeze. One of us was elderly with mobility issues... there were only 15 steps (including 2 stairs down and 2 stairs up) from parking to inside the front door and there are 2 king bedrooms on main floor. The kid-friendly bedroom upstairs was a plus too. The young folks enjoyed active WII sports in downstairs family room, while we had a quieter visit on the main level and someone napped on the upper level - something for everyone! One thing to note: the largest main floor bedroom, with luxurious jetted tub, did not have a closet. Perhaps on our next visit we will find a large armoire in the bedroom.... If you have a family group of varying ages and stages, you should try the Alpine lodge. 15 minutes to any Branson attraction, 3 minute drive to the lakeside."Guest: Pat Date of Stay: June 2012 Review Submitted: June 22, 2012View listing
"We stayed in the condo for 5 days in mid-October. Condo was very clean, convenient and close to attractions. There is a stairway leading down to the condo, which MIGHT be difficult for older visitors. The price was quite reasonable compared to other facilities. Weather was beautiful! We especially enjoyed Eureka Springs, Ark., a gorgeous town with loads of shopping and attractions. Would stay in the area again."Guest: Barb Date of Stay: October 2010 Review Submitted: October 29, 2010View listing
