  • A Lake Getaway

"My family and I enjoyed a few day vacation in the remarkable Branson getaway house. The house is two stories, open layout, high ceilings and gives off a modern day lake-house/cabin-feel with the intricate wood work and cozy woodsy theme. All ten of us were able to fit very comfortably in the space provided and the kids enjoyed bunking with their siblings and cousins. The open layout of the house really kept the family engaged, even the cooks could still feel involved with the rest of the family, which is pretty rare for our family. The entire gang enjoyed the xbox and games provided by the owners. What was a great treat was the fact the house backs right up to a wooded area setting up the opportunity for anytime of day hikes. Our family enjoys hiking a lot so we were also able to venture out only a short distance from the house to find more intricate and longer trails, some along riverbeds. My kids could not get enough of these hikes and the opportunity to explore the woods and riverbeds. We were also able to walk to the lake from the house and make a day trip of fishing, canoeing and picnicking. One of the days we rented a speed boat from a local marina on table rock lake, it was a BLAST! Coming from the busy city of Chicago it was nice to get away from the noise and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. That being said i can honestly say my family did appreciate the fact that Branson City was not too far from the house and we could engage in many different forms of entertainment like mini golf, live shows and shopping! The city also has a promenade with many different amazing restaurants for the nights the adults felt like being pampered. This vacation exceeded all expectations my family and I had, leaving at the end was the hardest part. I would recommend this house for families of all shapes and sizes, and can imagine it would be a great house for a girls weekend!"

  • Wonderful Cabin!

"We spent a wonderful weekend in this cabin. While it's right on the lake, we spent most of our time hiking at Roaring River, a 10 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin is very nicely furnished, and plenty of room for our family of four. Our son and daughter (ages 12 & 16) appreciated having their own rooms. We ALL enjoyed the huge glass block shower in the main bathroom! The kitchen is well-appointed - the only thing missing were wine glasses, although there were plenty of corkscrews! We enjoyed the nice grill on the back deck, cooked out both nights and ate dinner out there one night. Wish we would have stayed longer!"

  • Amazing views/Plenty of room for families

"We stayed the week leading up to Christmas, so we could enjoy Branson during the Christmas season. The house was large enough to host two families comfortably. Very clean. The location was secluded enough for privacy, but still close to town. Your only visable neighbor is the house next door. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, and the kids had a great time playing on the swingset, foosball, and watching movies. The adults enjoyed playing pool and throwing darts. There was so much to do, we didn't even get to the large assortment of board games. The owner was great to work with. Very personable! Even sent us a Christmas card before we got there. She was very easy to reach, and although we did not have any problems during our stay, I am sure she would have taken care of it swiftly. Great time had by all! Thanks again Theresa, for your hospitality!"
