  • A wonderful place to stay! Especially for large families!

"My extended family takes an annual trip each August. We have age ranges from 2 years to 73 years. We really enjoyed our stay, it's great when our entire family is able to stay under 1 roof. The only concern we had was the lack of towels. When you have 20 people, you need lots of towels. This would not have been a big deal had we known in advance, rather than scrambling at the last minute to have people bring them from home. So, my only advice is to bring your own bath supplies, beach towels ( which the site does say) and dish rags/towels. Not a big deal. Make sure you bring your own pots and pans if you are cooking for a large group ( we learned that years ago so we were prepared). If we were planning to grill for a full meal, we would have needed to bring an extra grill. We weren't sure what to do with the obviously large amounts of trash that we produced, so we bagged it up and kept it on the front deck. Luckily no animals got in it. A dumpster on site might be a good idea. The dock was awesome! It was so nice to swim off of, hang out on, and keep our boat and jet skis right on the property! Bill was very helpful with anything we needed or had questions about. It is nice to have a caretaker on site! I will speak for my family when I say we would defiantly consider returning in future years! Thanks everyone!"

  • Large Family Reunion

"We had a wonderful time at the Reunion Rendezvous! The house was beautiful and very well stocked with everything needed. The kids loved the Wii, pinball machine and having Netflix. Our only complaint would be that the ad says it sleeps 18 (we had 17) but there are only beds for 16 and a pack n play. Our youngest was 5 so the pack n play was not a viable option for a place to sleep. It all worked out and we were able to make a spot on the love seat for one of the kids to sleep. Also the sofa sleeper downstairs would not work for adults to sleep on as it is in pretty bad shape with loose springs and such but it worked fine for our 8 and 6 year old. The beds in the rooms were very comfortable. The house is in a great location south of Branson which made it easy to get in and out for shows and activities but was far enough away to not have to deal with the traffic. It was a great week and our family enjoyed your house very much. Thank you!"

  • Weekend Getaway with Friends

"My friends and I traveled to the Ozarks for a weekend getaway. The pictures of the house is exactly what you will get. The view of the lake is a marvel to look at. We even saw a bald eagle catch a fish right in front of our dock. Everyone had a blast and we have already discussed going here again next year. We rented a boat for the time we were there and probably didn't even see all of the lake. Great place for friends and family to get away. Would recommend it to everyone. The stairs leading down to the lake is the only complaint I would have but that didn't matter to us. We cooked on the grill and went to some of the local bars. The owners of the house were great! I can't thank them enough. We have been planning this vacation for awhile and anytime I had a question, the owner would promptly reply with the answer. I appreciate everything they did for us. Can't wait to start planning for next year."
