  • Piece of paradise.

"If you like to entertain kids with amusement parks, water slides, shows, and electronics--- this place is not for you! And that's is exactly why we loved it. It is a place to unplug and relax. We love the beautiful blue waters of Bull Shoals and with the marina a couple of blocks away, it was very convenient. Plus, there are many places to hike around and explore. There are many beautiful rivers nearby too. We even appreciated the windy roads and small towns. We came prepared and we love that it is off the beaten bath and no Wal-Mart right down the road. The owner thought of everything including great directions to see some sights! Great place for families to re-connect!"

  • Family retreat.

"I wanted to say what a wonderful retreat we had at The Journey home. My husband has Alzheimer's and we needed some family time. Part of our family lives in Colorado and this was a great halfway vacation spot. We spent many hours on the porches and enjoyed watching all the kids play. We prepared most of our meals in the huge kitchen and enjoyed the spacious dining area. We saved a lot of money on food. Although we had planned on doing a lot of sightseeing in the near by areas, we couldn't get the family to leave the farm. I have never felt so at peace in my life and wished we had booked for another week. My good husband so enjoyed the time. Thanks for providing a wonder home to share. Ohio family."

  • GREAT WEEKEND GETAWAY!!

"We loved our 3 day weekend spent at Slice of Heaven. The owners were kind, inviting, and made us feel welcomed into their home. Our group had rented the house for a bachelorette party and all 14 girls agree that it is somewhere we all wish to return to for other events. If you're looking for somewhere to rent I definitely recommend Slice of Heaven. Great access to all things fun and the house itself is amazing. Don't pass booking your vacation with them!!
