  • Great house!

"We have rented homes on the lake for the past 5 years and found this property to be really excellent- there were 17 of us, including little ones under 2 years, school age, 5 families total in the main house with room to spare. All of the bedrooms are very nice, don't be worried that there are no pictures in the listing. The outdoor fireplace was very cozy and the pool was a blast to play in- it is large and deep for the diving board and slide, which was the favorite of my kids. The big kids (ie our husbands) had a knock down drag out ping pong tournament to remember. Fun for all. Classic lake luxury at its finest, we will certainly be reserving early for next year!"

  • Great home for Family (13) vacation

"There was enough room to sleep, cook, visit and play for 13 people. Ages 12-70+ family vacation, it was just right. Beds were terrific, nice to have air conditioning on such a hot week, but we enjoyed the deck at night, no bugs! Thought we would get eaten alive with all the trees, but it was very pleasant at night. Kids enjoyed the games downstairs. We enjoyed a laundry room and big kitchen! I was a bit worried about the deck...seemed to me that it was loose, leaning toward the forest, not very stable. But the guys said it was built well, and there was nothing to worry about. The veiws cannot be beat. We were very close to the marina so we could use a slip for jet skis and rented a boat for a day. The Lake is awesome....so big, so much to see, very peaceful. The house is close enough to Hwy 65, so we are just a few exits away from the Branson strip, for shows and shopping. Also nice restaurants closed to the house too, Devils Pool Lake and Hook and Ladder Pizza. Mostly, I just wanted to sit out on the deck and enjoy the view and wildlife."

  • Amazing views

"We enjoyed our family stay at Shady Cove. The fishing was great and so was the swimming. After a day of play we could relax on the screened inn porch our sit in the hot tub. We enjoyed watching movies, puzzles and cards we did not have to bring them they were already there. The shower downstairs is amazing and our kids loved the swing in the bonus room. The owners are great in every way they are very helpful and easy to work with."
