  • Family retreat.

"I wanted to say what a wonderful retreat we had at The Journey home. My husband has Alzheimer's and we needed some family time. Part of our family lives in Colorado and this was a great halfway vacation spot. We spent many hours on the porches and enjoyed watching all the kids play. We prepared most of our meals in the huge kitchen and enjoyed the spacious dining area. We saved a lot of money on food. Although we had planned on doing a lot of sightseeing in the near by areas, we couldn't get the family to leave the farm. I have never felt so at peace in my life and wished we had booked for another week. My good husband so enjoyed the time. Thanks for providing a wonder home to share. Ohio family."

  • Great Vacation Retreat

"Wonderful long weekend stay at the lake house. The views of the lake were awesome and the weather happened to be perfect. The house was clean with plenty of room for our group of six. Perfect place to stay during the Fall to sightsee or to go to a Mizzou football game - which we did, and of course the Tigers won! The large deck was great to sit out on overlooking the lake or to do some grilling. And the pool table was a bonus. It would have been nice to be able to use the fireplace, but it was not operational. There was a ping pong table as well, but we were not able to locate any ping pong balls or paddles. The flat screen TV's were excellent in each room and we had no problems with the satellite TV system. There were no basic condiments such as salt & pepper, sugar, etc. but the kitchen did have plenty of pots and pans, and dinnerware, cups & glasses. Overall, our experience at the lakefront home was excellent and we would highly recommend this vacation property. We hope to come back in the Summer and again next Fall."

  • River fun in a beautiful cabin

"I feel like I found a real gem. Eagle's Landing is a beautiful, private place right on the Gasconade River. Our cabin was so modern and clean. It had satellite TV and a full large kitchen equipped with dishes. We saw wildlife, caught lots of fish and had fun skipping rocks across the river. The water was clear and very pretty. I can't wait to come back. The owners are exceptionally nice and so very helpful."

  • great place

"We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. The condo is very nice and had everything we needed. Very clean and updated nicely. Close to SDC, Indian Point Marina(Table Rock lake) and Walmart. Traffic wasn't a problem as the unit is west of SDC 1 mile. We want to thank the owners for the use of the condo and hope to use it again."
