  • Loved it!

"My husband and I and our dog spent 6 nights at this charming cabin. What a find! From the moment we stepped into the door we began "high-fiving" each other because it was better than we imagined it could be. Impeccably clean, bright, roomy and such attention to detail. Having travelled over 1500 miles with us our dog immediately curled up on one of the bedroom rugs as if to declare "I've arrived!" If we had the opportunity to build we would absolutely try to duplicate the floor plan of the cabin. It was perfect. The huge windows let in the most luscious, cool and light mountain air. Are where are the mosquitos anyway?? We brought all sorts of bug spray with us and never needed it. How great was that? We completely fell in love with the area. We couldn't get enough. We drove into the Canadian Rockies - spectacular! We did the highway drive along Lake Koocanusa to Libby, Mt - not to be missed! There was so much. Around every bend in the road we found something else that was truly beautiful. We fell in love with Montana and with the cabin. Margie and Duke completely have it figured out in terms of how to be spectacular hosts. We were so appreciative for all of the information they left on the area and the fresh flowers and treats. These are the kind of things only persons who really care about providing you with an excellent experience do. We so hope to be back as I don't think we could ever find a place that we loved as much."

  • Perfect place for a large wedding group

"This home and Scott the owner were extremely accommodating for our 16 person group. We're all here for a wedding, all in our 20s and everybody had a blast! There were more than enough beds, we brought airbeds and didn't have to use them! More than enough pillows and sheets too. The kitchen is fantastic, tons of utensils and everything we could have needed for our big breakfasts. The lake is a short walk, with the orchard and some sheep in between, we all thought the walk was really enjoyable, no complaints! If for some reason walking isn't your thing you can drive down to the lake too. WIFI, deck, BBQ, tons of beds & plates and everything you need, more than enough showers, Scott the owner was around and very helpful."

  • Fantastic Riverfront Cabin close to Glacier

"We stayed at Darlene's beautiful home for a week in early August. I enjoyed fly fishing on the Flathead river early in the morning before we headed to Glacier for the day. This home is ideally situated away from the busy West Glacier area, but close enough to the park and also to Whitefish to satisfy the "shopping bug" for our wives (lots of pubs in Whitefish to occupy "man time"). In the evening, we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds visiting the feeders hanging from the roof of the deck and listening to the river. The night before we left, Darlene was kind enough to set up the spotting scope for us to observe the adolescent bald eagles across the river. This home is very clean and well maintained. We give this property (and its' owner) "two thumbs up"."

  • Beautiful Digs

"The condo is right on the Swan River and the restful sound of the rapids lulls you into vacation mode. Well appointed and comfortable. We stayed here in September, and night noise was not a problem for us. Big Fork is a very small town but with three or four really good restaurants. It is also well situated to explore Glacier National Park, as well as Flathead Lake and the surrounding area."
