"Peggy's artistic nature is put into every element of this property. The views from every window in the main house AND the barn were simply stunning. We saw Deer and Wild Turkeys just wandering about the property. The garden was very pretty; we picked raspberries and fresh zucchini, and enjoyed looking at the other different fruits and vegetables, as well as, the varieties of trees and flowers. We were a very large group (ages 2 to 64) and the property was quite comfortable and clean for all of us. Peggy is a lovely and charming woman and was very willing to work with us. I wish that the waterfall had been running. I'm sure it would have been beautiful, but it was the middle of a very hot summer and it may have been too costly to run at that particular point in time. Other than that, we had absolutely no regrets picking the Stone Tower Estate. It was a beautiful and perfect place to stay!"

"This was our first experience renting a VRBO property but everything we read was true. We had a group of 12 people and we never felt crowded. This home is luxurious and well maintained. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, bowls, and small appliances (coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster). The towels and bed linens were awesome. The beds were even better! Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The home is in a beautiful setting among the pine trees. Everyone morning I sat by the windows watching the deer and elk graze nearby. The bedrooms are all good sized and the 2 master bedrooms were wonderful with walk in showers and whirlpool tubs. There was even a kiddie pool in the garage we were able to use so our granddaughter could play in the water! Amy the property manager was very good to work with. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again."

"My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Tailwater. Such a special place. It is close to fabulous hikes for the adventure seekers but is nestled away in a perfect spot for those that want to come and stay put. We enjoyed hitting the trails each morning only to come back and relax by the river. We hope to come back again to the Tailwater and have recommended it to all our family."

"We awoke our first morning to find 15 elk wandering through the property, and it got even better as the trip went on. The cabin is cozy, with tremendous privacy (apart from the wildlife) and natural beauty. We would definitely come back to this spot again."
