"The house and the setting are beautiful and relaxing. Almost every room has windows that bring the outside into the house. The layout is spacious and intuitively efficient. The appointments and furnishings are lovely and in keeping with the log cabin character of the house.
We stayed for 11 nights. Some days we stayed in and just kicked back, and many days we explored the area and hiked on the many trails in the valley. The house has lots of help with books about hikes and trail maps.
Although we went out to dinner a few times, more than on other vacations, we cooked because the kitchen was great, and it was just so pleasant to eat at "home."
The owner Amy couldn't be nicer or more helpful. She's a wonderful mixture of being available if you need her but never intrusive if you just want to be left alone. Her sheep and goats often come over to the guesthouse property and happily graze on the grass. The goats are a hoot as they try to grab branches on some of the trees by propping themselves up on the trunks.
This is one of the loveliest houses we've rented. It's someplace you could actually live and be content. I strongly recommend it."

"The house, beautiful yard, and surrounding scenery made for an awesome family reunion site. We felt right at home as all the accommodations were great. This property made it easy for us to gather for meals inside or BBQ outside. Rooms are good sized and beds are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the early morning hours with a cup of coffee at the picnic table listening to the doves coo. We even had the opportunity to meet the property owners who are very nice folks. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again."

"A friend and I recently used the Bitterroot Fishing Loft as home base while fishing the Bitterroot watershed. The loft was perfect for that purpose being clean, very spacious and well furnished. The West's property is beautiful, secluded and quiet while still having good proximity to the center of Hamilton and its amenities. Karla is an engaging and charming host who went out of her way to help after the airline lost a bag containing fishing tackle. The West's generous loan of some much-needed items saved a day of fishing. Our stay couldn't have been better and I recommend the loft to others without reservation."

"Peggy's artistic nature is put into every element of this property. The views from every window in the main house AND the barn were simply stunning. We saw Deer and Wild Turkeys just wandering about the property. The garden was very pretty; we picked raspberries and fresh zucchini, and enjoyed looking at the other different fruits and vegetables, as well as, the varieties of trees and flowers. We were a very large group (ages 2 to 64) and the property was quite comfortable and clean for all of us. Peggy is a lovely and charming woman and was very willing to work with us. I wish that the waterfall had been running. I'm sure it would have been beautiful, but it was the middle of a very hot summer and it may have been too costly to run at that particular point in time. Other than that, we had absolutely no regrets picking the Stone Tower Estate. It was a beautiful and perfect place to stay!"
