"Our family of 4 stayed at the Timber frame house in East Glacier during the 3rd week of August. The house is ideally located in East Glacier where you can walk (or bike) to the East Glacier Lodge or just walk a few hundred feet to one of several nice eateries. The house sits up against a green belt and has a very nice private outdoor patio with a new grill and outdoor furniture. It was great to come back to the place after a day in the park and be able to relax outside. The house is great for 4 people. All of the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed. The cabinets are stuffed with basic items (spices, olive oil, salad dressing etc). I would highly recommend this place. Location is excellent. Very clean and well kept!"

"Glacier is a beautiful place, but what made it even better for us was coming back after a day of hiking to a place that was peaceful and quiet, comfortable and included an incredible view of the mountains. This home is great! We loved the big deck that overlooks the mountains and the small pond on the property. We even saw a small bear and a moose from the house! The view from the master suite on the top floor was spectacular as the sun set over the moutains! You can certainly tell that these owners use and love this home. It was very well stocked, even included maps of Glacier, bear spray and hiking poles which was great for us as novice hikers! The owners were easy to work with and answered many questions about the area. We liked the quieter side of the park on East Glacier. It was a memorable get away for us."

"My husband and I spent 1 week in this glorious guest home and enjoyed every minute. It's beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything to make it a home away from home, including a fully equipped kitchen. The living area looks out to a beautiful yard, with a cozy balcony to enjoy a glass of wine and dinner or just the view. The location was excellent in a dear little village not far from the entrance to Glacier Park. You'll find lots of good hiking a short drive away. There are several restaurants across the main street just a block from the house. A little farther away, there was the excellent Serrano's for Mexican fare. A small bakery and provision store called Brownie's is also a block away. We can't say enough good things about our experience there and wish we had planned to spent our second week here."

Gorgeous setting and beautiful home with no detail overlooked
"Our two families (with four children between the ages of 5 and 9) stayed here for four nights and didn't want to leave! Chuck and Vicki welcomed us warmly and provided a great introduction to the house and the surrounding area. All the other reviews raving about their kindness are not exaggerations -- they are delightful and incredibly friendly. The house is comfortable and in great condition in a gorgeous location. No detail is overlooked: the house includes bear spray, a first aid kit, binoculars, plenty of books and games, and a very well-stocked kitchen.
We loved exploring the park from this terrific home base. We loved watching the two horses out the window; relaxing in the hammock; and eating delicious pies from the "pie lady" -- she delivers to the house with reasonable prices -- YUM!
We'd come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Chuck and Vicki!"
