"We just got back from an amazing week at this property. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay another week (or two). After our very urban kids got used to the hunting trophies, they settled right in and were all sad to have to leave. Ky was a welcoming host full of helpful information (and was able to give the 2 younger kids in our group a riding lesson) but left us to enjoy the solitude and natural beauty on our own.
Location is a relatively quick drive 8 or so miles northwest of town--close enough for grocery store/beer runs and dinners out but remote enough to really feel like you are enjoying great outdoors that city people like us come to Montana to experience."

"As veterans of VRBO, Ptarmigan Village, and Whitefish, we could not be any happier with this wonderful townhome. This townhome was not just a "cozy cabin", as aptly described by the owner, but a well-furnished, well-stocked "cozy cabin". It was wonderful to enjoy a real wood fireplace with plentiful wood. It has a well laid out floor plan that easily accommodated our family of eight, and as with any real cabin, has a nice loft. You would be very hard pressed to find anywhere else that would give you everything you get here at such an amazing price. The proximity to Whitefish Ski Resort, which is one of our favorites, is phenomenal (less than 2 miles). We were also able to make day runs to Schweitzer (3.5 hrs) and Lookout Pass Ski Resorts( 2.5 hrs) in Northern Idaho and get back in reasonable time to the cozy cabin. As if a wonderful location, comfortable, well-appointed accommodations and fantastic rates weren't enough, the owner, Lisa, was delightful, patient, and outgoing. We look forward to staying here again the next time our family visits Whitefish, Montana."

"We were three generations staying in this beautiful, comfortable, peaceful home. Our ages ranged from 5 to 83 and every single one of us was delighted with this house and would be happy to return some day. The 4 bedrooms provided plenty of privacy. The two garages (garage door openers provided) were very convenient. The well-stocked kitchen meant all we needed were groceries to cook any meals we wanted. There was a place for everyone with the spacious living room, the TV area off the breakfast nook and the rec room downstairs. The master suite is very large with a king bed, office area, walk-in closet, double vanity, enclosed shower and jetted tub. The view of Flathead Lake is breathtaking. The trees are limbed just right to provide a view and shade. The sounds of the waves on Flathead lake lulled us to sleep. And even though it was October and a little cooler while we were there, we enjoyed the decks and the dock. The grounds are well kept and the location is very private, being on Flathead Lake Lodge property. It is very close to Bigfork by car, but maybe too far to walk for most."

"Set on top of a hill, with commanding views across the valley towards snow capped (as of late April 2015) mountains. A well appointed spacious home, comfortable bed rooms, huge master suite, delightful kitchen with a good range of food prep tools. The owners are interesting, charming, fun to talk to, do not over hover, but are there when you need them. They built the house, for themselves and it feels that way, with that kind of care and attention to detail. The lay out for the house makes it perfect for larger groups, lots of space to convene , lots of space to get away from each other. There is good walking to be had straight out of the back door and the local town, has a good supermarket and is not far away. All that said You know how it is you see a place on the web and dither is this right? Should we book it? Is it as good as the pictures? Well on this one don't dither , it is as good as it looks."
