"I'm almost hesitant to write this review because I don't want everyone to find out about this little gem. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting/location. This quaint cabin is nestled onto a serene, tree-shaded hillside just steps away from the Swan River and Nature Trail. We had deer wandering through the yard in the mornings while we were enjoying our coffee in the lawn chairs, and we fell asleep to the sound of the river every night. The cabin itself is older, but has an interesting history and is clean and nicely furnished. The living room is situated so that someone on the pull-out couch can sleep without other people having to come through the room to access the kitchen/bathroom, etc.
The very best part about this rental is that even though you FEEL like you're miles away in this peaceful, private setting, it's just a quick two block walk down the hill to Bigfork Village. We didn't have to use the car for two days.
Byron and Dana are very pleasant owners and easy to deal with. We enjoyed reading about the history of the cabin and water tower, and the free "library" at the base of the driveway is a cute and fun idea. My son made use of the tennis equipment that was provided (free courts just down the street). We loved everything about this place and were truly sad to leave. I hope to be back with my husband later this year. I'm sure it's just as beautiful in any season."

"We enjoyed a week at the house with our family. There were 8 adults, 1 teenager and 1 infant. The house was stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of room for everyone. Our favorite part was the backyard. We enjoyed the volleyball court, hot tub, kayaks, dock and slide, fire pit, BBQs, bar and lounges. Loved the close proximity to Wild Horse Island. We hiked on the island and saw the wild horses, eagles and deer."

"Everything contained in the listing description is accurate. The cabin (house) is fairly new construction and it has all of the amenities you need (you do have to go without cable tv and wifi).
The location is fantastic in a bit of a secluded bay without too much other boat traffic (other than our own:))
The cabin was very clean and well maintained and the owners really take a lot a pride in renting this property."

"We had a wonderful time at the Swan home. Mac and Karen met us and showed us around the property, making us feel very welcome. The house is fully equipped, nothing fancy, just comfortable. The lake is beautiful, we took canoe jaunts to explore the lake. We spent hours swimming, reading, relaxing by the water. Mac and Karen gave us a ride around the lake in their boat, which was an extra treat. It was perfect. I hope we can return for another vacation."
