  • SWAN RIVER RETREAT-JUST WHAT WE NEEDED

"IF you are looking for a wonderful weekend away and need some rest~ Choose this place! Situated right on the Swan river, sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine, cup of coffee or the sunshine. Rest and Relaxation are on the agenda, at this place. My husband and I loved having the small kitchen and beautiful furnishings. A Custom tile kitchen, a gorgeous walk in two person shower, and thirst towels await you- pack you bags and you will not be sorry! Explore Big Fork, have sushi, visit art galleries and enjoy this private setting for your time away. Reserve your dates today."

  • Perfect for Young and Old

"We were three generations staying in this beautiful, comfortable, peaceful home. Our ages ranged from 5 to 83 and every single one of us was delighted with this house and would be happy to return some day. The 4 bedrooms provided plenty of privacy. The two garages (garage door openers provided) were very convenient. The well-stocked kitchen meant all we needed were groceries to cook any meals we wanted. There was a place for everyone with the spacious living room, the TV area off the breakfast nook and the rec room downstairs. The master suite is very large with a king bed, office area, walk-in closet, double vanity, enclosed shower and jetted tub. The view of Flathead Lake is breathtaking. The trees are limbed just right to provide a view and shade. The sounds of the waves on Flathead lake lulled us to sleep. And even though it was October and a little cooler while we were there, we enjoyed the decks and the dock. The grounds are well kept and the location is very private, being on Flathead Lake Lodge property. It is very close to Bigfork by car, but maybe too far to walk for most."

  • Great experience!

"Charlie's cabin has everything you'd want in a cabin experience. Located in Big Fork, MT, it is very close (5 mins.) to Flathead Lake and only 45 minutes from Glacier National Park. Best of all, it is set-up directly on the river. Walk 10 feet from the front door and your feet can be submerged in it. He has kayaks, canoes, pattle boards and bikes to utilize as well. Kayaking on the river is addictive and you'll want to do it as much as you can. Fire pit on the large deck makes for great evenings. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy. Full oven and range! A shower and restroom is a great addition as well. The sauna is one aspect we didn't use, but the option to be able to is great. All in all, Charlie's cabin is a perfect place for a couple or family to experience shared memories. We will visit again I'm sure! Thanks Charlie and Judi!"

  • Twice in 2014

"I stayed in the cabin and visited Glacier Nat. Park in August of this year with a group of friends touring on motorcycles. I enjoyed the cabin so much that I brought my family up in October for another vacation. It is wonderful, clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. We will be back."
