I can't imagine staying anywhere else!!!
"This is my 3rd time staying in this apartment and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. This trip was a week long girls vacation. I love visiting Glacier National Park, but it's hard to relax staying in one of the hotels in the park or near the park because of the huge number of visitors staying there. I have a very stressful job as do both of my friends that came with me on this vacation. The quiet serenity of the location and breathtaking views from this apartment are priceless!!! Mike, the owner, lives upstairs and has lived in the Bigfork area for almost 20 years and is a great resource for suggestions of activities to do and places to visit. On this visit he suggested a new restaurant called the Gallery Gourmet....a truly wonderful place....great food and the owners welcome you like family, even on your first visit. The apartment is even more beautiful then the pictures show. For people traveling on a budget, the full kitchen is a major plus. During this recent stay my friends and I went out to eat several times, but we enjoyed being able to cook dinner together every night. Regardless of the length of your stay, I promise that you won't be disappointed staying in this rental. I can't wait to stay there again next year!!!"

"I wish we could stay here longer! Condo is a mix of Italian palazzo and craftsman style. Large wood deck overlooks a raging river of mountain runoff. Bed is comfortable, kitchen has a few basic supplies, and washer/dryer is a bonus. TV is very small to watch from couch, but the picturesque scenery is what this is all about. Located in a professional building housing a lawyer, natural oil mfg, and counselors, it was a little hard to find. But the reward! 'Brookies Cookies" is located at the end of the building. Best choc. chip cookies ever! We drove 45 minutes into West Glacier for a daytrip. Best to go in late June or later - Road to Sun was only open first 16 miles - not to the summit.
This condo provided us the best vacation rental experience we have ever had.
Friendly folks with whom to work, very clean condo and awesome scenery. It's the best!"

"I'm almost hesitant to write this review because I don't want everyone to find out about this little gem. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting/location. This quaint cabin is nestled onto a serene, tree-shaded hillside just steps away from the Swan River and Nature Trail. We had deer wandering through the yard in the mornings while we were enjoying our coffee in the lawn chairs, and we fell asleep to the sound of the river every night. The cabin itself is older, but has an interesting history and is clean and nicely furnished. The living room is situated so that someone on the pull-out couch can sleep without other people having to come through the room to access the kitchen/bathroom, etc.
The very best part about this rental is that even though you FEEL like you're miles away in this peaceful, private setting, it's just a quick two block walk down the hill to Bigfork Village. We didn't have to use the car for two days.
Byron and Dana are very pleasant owners and easy to deal with. We enjoyed reading about the history of the cabin and water tower, and the free "library" at the base of the driveway is a cute and fun idea. My son made use of the tennis equipment that was provided (free courts just down the street). We loved everything about this place and were truly sad to leave. I hope to be back with my husband later this year. I'm sure it's just as beautiful in any season."

"We were three generations staying in this beautiful, comfortable, peaceful home. Our ages ranged from 5 to 83 and every single one of us was delighted with this house and would be happy to return some day. The 4 bedrooms provided plenty of privacy. The two garages (garage door openers provided) were very convenient. The well-stocked kitchen meant all we needed were groceries to cook any meals we wanted. There was a place for everyone with the spacious living room, the TV area off the breakfast nook and the rec room downstairs. The master suite is very large with a king bed, office area, walk-in closet, double vanity, enclosed shower and jetted tub. The view of Flathead Lake is breathtaking. The trees are limbed just right to provide a view and shade. The sounds of the waves on Flathead lake lulled us to sleep. And even though it was October and a little cooler while we were there, we enjoyed the decks and the dock. The grounds are well kept and the location is very private, being on Flathead Lake Lodge property. It is very close to Bigfork by car, but maybe too far to walk for most."
