"We stayed at this wonderful vacation home with our whole family, my husband and our three older children from Vermont, our daughter her husband and their daughter from Minnesota, and our son from Montana. We were all there for our son's wedding and what a fantastic week we had. The accommodations were excellent and the views were beautiful. The house was more than I expected and the caretakers were wonderful, you didn't even know they were below us. They even encouraged our boys to have fun and not worry about the noise they made. I hope to go back and stay there again. Thank you Tracy, Betty & George for everything!!!"

"My family loved this cabin. We have two girls, 8 and 5, and they couldn't get enough of the river and cabin. Charlie met us at the cabin upon arrival and provided a tour of the place. The fire pit and outdoor sauna were a nice touch. I'd highly recommend paying the extra few bucks for access to the river toys and bikes. My 8 year old really took to paddle boarding and having a kayak or canoe to follow her around in was helpful. The 5 year old loved riding shotgun on the paddle board and kayak. Both really enjoyed swimming in the river which wasn't too cold. Location is only a few minutes from Bigfork which was nice for a few restaurants and a grocery store and there is a nice bike that you can take to get downtown. Agree with other reviews that suggest packing bug spray - from later afternoon until bedtime there's quite a few out there. Access to Glacier wasn't too far away (40 minute drive or so) which made day trips into the park pleasant. If we find ourselves in northern Montana again, we'll be back!"

"This was our second year at the lodge and we love it. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Enough room to host our family while we visited and we had a campfire while the kids played outside. Sunsets from the porch- awesome!!! The young dog enjoyed all the country smells. The owner is a very discreet presence - very helpful and friendly but not obtrusive in any way. One consideration for some- the stairs to the sleeping loft are steep but there is a good railing. Wonderfully quiet. We hope to come back again."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Retreat. Plenty of room for our family of 7 with a bonus of 2 fully furnished kitchens. The view of Flathead Lake is breathtaking with the eagles soaring past the windows in the morning. Great location close enough to Glacier National Park for a day visit and plenty of hiking right from the house. We ate our weight in cherries as they were in perfect season. Can't wait to visit again!"
