"Wow! This place was awesome! The pictures do not do it justice! I was pleasantly surprised how well kept and immaculately clean it was! It is just steps from the crystal clear lake!
We took the train into whitefish, rented a car and drove a straight shot down to the cabin with stores on the way where we bought groceries for our stay.
The owners live right next door and are very hospitable! We had our 12 year old son with us and Mr. Jellison went out of his way to make sure he had fun! He got a paddleboat out and a paddle board which was one of my sons favorite things to do on the lake! There is also a place to have a fire next to the water.
We love nature and loved photographing the osprey and eagles that nest near by!
The view of the mountains across the lake was just beautiful! A beautiful sight to wake up to with your morning coffee! At night I left the windows open a tad and loved hearing the waves hitting the shore! So peaceful!
We went to Glacier National park, drove over to Big fork and got some huckleberry jam and some huckleberry ice cream! Got my husband a fishing charter for a surprise birthday gift and him and my son went and had an awesome time catching some BIG fish! We also recommend the Bison Range which is just south of there! Again...we like seeing wildlife so that was super cool! We underestimated all we would see there and should have gotten there earlier!
As you can tell by my review we really loved it here! We were sad to leave the location and the owners! But what a blessing it was! Would definately love to go back!"

"The place and location is just vintage Montana. We shared the cabin with another family and enjoyed it immensely. We stayed for a week in late July. We chose this cabin because it looked rustic and had 10 acres and was not right on Flathead Lake, so we figured it would be more secluded. The place is beyond the pictures shown online and blew us away. There were deer constantly crossing the property along with a family of wild turkeys. The river was great and there were kayaks and canoes and paddles, vests- just don't stand up quickly in the canoe as they tip and the plastic benches that are available for the canoes don't float! There were about 10 bikes in the shed, and more toward the newer side. I had inquired about fishing rods and the owner was kind enough to purchase rods and some tackle BEFORE our trip out there. The cabin is quaint and quintessential country. We turned on the radio to a country station and left it there the whole trip. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need and there is also a grill outside. The location is ideal, very quiet and off the beaten path. The views are spectacular. I can't imagine how beautiful (and downright cold) the winter must be. The river is slow moving and easy to navigate and deep enough for swimming- Very refreshing, even when not falling out of a canoe. There are amazing cherry stands all over the place along the roads, the small town is great and apparently Big Fork is the center for stage theatre in Montana- We saw a comedic play there and the kids loved the ice cream places. They also have some great places to dine. The location is close enough to the airport and to Glacier Nat'l Park and to a variety of horseback riding places, hiking trails. The place is very large, so early birds can get up go downstairs and not disturb the others. Lots of places to read a book, lots of games at the place, the next door plot had horses that the girls would go out to see and pet and feed daily. It was really a great get away. The entire Flathead lake area is just so country and rural that it just felt good to be there and we wish we had had more time. There is just so much to do here. The owner, Valerie, and property manager, Deb, are just great people. They were invested in our stay and eager to please. I fear I have said too much, yet I can't say enough. We will be heading back soon, we will make more time as this was hands down, our favorite vacation and our favorite rental."

A sunny vacation week at water's edge, Flathead Lake
"My wife and I and our other four adult family members enjoyed a wonderful eight days at this vacation home. It's a very compact home on a small lot, but perfectly situated at water's edge. The cabin's interior finishes are first rate, beautifully maintained. Only one bathroom on the lower level, for the six of us in bedrooms on the upper level, was sometimes a night-time cause for comment -- but hey, we weren't exactly suffering, were we? Swimming, kayaking, with frequent walks around the nearby Kings Point peninsula were great. One evening we saw no fewer than twenty deer! The owner was very nice and helpful in making sure we would enjoy our stay, and we all agreed we received excellent value. Also, 15 minute drive to Polson for golf, restaurants-- there was even an art show and a classic car show on the weekend."

"The property was very clean and well organized. there were plenty of deer, even in the area right off the front deck in the morning as we had coffee. The river was beautiful access was easy even for an old goat like me. our only regret was not having enough time to do and see everything."
