  • I can't imagine staying anywhere else!!!

"This is my 3rd time staying in this apartment and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. This trip was a week long girls vacation. I love visiting Glacier National Park, but it's hard to relax staying in one of the hotels in the park or near the park because of the huge number of visitors staying there. I have a very stressful job as do both of my friends that came with me on this vacation. The quiet serenity of the location and breathtaking views from this apartment are priceless!!! Mike, the owner, lives upstairs and has lived in the Bigfork area for almost 20 years and is a great resource for suggestions of activities to do and places to visit. On this visit he suggested a new restaurant called the Gallery Gourmet....a truly wonderful place....great food and the owners welcome you like family, even on your first visit. The apartment is even more beautiful then the pictures show. For people traveling on a budget, the full kitchen is a major plus. During this recent stay my friends and I went out to eat several times, but we enjoyed being able to cook dinner together every night. Regardless of the length of your stay, I promise that you won't be disappointed staying in this rental. I can't wait to stay there again next year!!!"

  • Great experience!

"Charlie's cabin has everything you'd want in a cabin experience. Located in Big Fork, MT, it is very close (5 mins.) to Flathead Lake and only 45 minutes from Glacier National Park. Best of all, it is set-up directly on the river. Walk 10 feet from the front door and your feet can be submerged in it. He has kayaks, canoes, pattle boards and bikes to utilize as well. Kayaking on the river is addictive and you'll want to do it as much as you can. Fire pit on the large deck makes for great evenings. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy. Full oven and range! A shower and restroom is a great addition as well. The sauna is one aspect we didn't use, but the option to be able to is great. All in all, Charlie's cabin is a perfect place for a couple or family to experience shared memories. We will visit again I'm sure! Thanks Charlie and Judi!"

  • Family wedding

"We rented this house for our family and closest friends for our daughter's wedding. It was terrific. The owner and caretaker accommodated our request for early check-in to allow us to get the rehearsal on time. The caretaker was very friendly, but not aggressive or intimidating, met us and gave us a thorough and efficient tour of the features of the house, then left us his cell number to contact him with any questions. Parking was a little intimidating at first (shared driveway and parking with a close neighbor who happened to be moving this weekend!), but we learned quickly that we could fit three vehicles in the garage, up to seven vehicles outside of the garage, and several more up the hill at the end of the driveway, without encroaching on the neighbor's parking. The photos don't show all the bedrooms and bathrooms, but all were top notch. Large bedrooms, high end bedding, quality furniture and mattresses, sufficient high quality towels for the entire group. All but two of the bedrooms could actually house a family in each. The master bedroom was luxurious with a beautiful bathroom - jetted tub, glassed in tile shower, and a gas fireplace that warmed up the room quickly. The kitchen was huge with never ending cabinetry, high end appliances, and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, flatware and cooking utensils. There were appliances sufficient to keep up with us, i.e., two coffee makers, two ovens, etc. We had meals for large groups a couple of times and the kitchen and dining space was sufficient to hold many cooks and guests. The deck was great with big, professional type grill, several dining tables and lots of chairs, extending the two large dining tables indoors, and the best view of the lake. A paddle boat and two kayaks were also great for our twenty somethings. The dock is solid and guests visited in a rental boat, using our dock as a starting point for water skiing. The laundry room was especially welcome as a staging area for storing items we didn't want underfoot, but needed for the wedding. The wedding was on Finley Point and not at the house, but we had a lot of traffic. This house was perfect for us. Everything was top tier, high quality, yet comfortable and inviting. Many thanks to the owner and caretaker for great service. I would recommend this house to anyone without hesitation and wish we could stay again for a longer period of time."
