  • Amazing view!!!!!

"This is a lovely property and the host has done a great job making sure that guests have everything they need. She really has thought of everything! The highway is directly behind the house but there are double paned windows so if you keep the doors closed it's quiet (I'm a very light sleeper but I had no problems at all). There is a little dock down the slope that's just for the house so when it's sunny that's a fabulous place to lounge in complete privacy."

  • Charmingly Rustic

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 2 grown daughters and I very much enjoyed our stay at Evans House. The house is filled with Old West art and funky treasures from the beach. Everything was as described, and plentiful. The deck was our base camp for a.m coffee and p.m. cocktails, with an awesome view of the lake and mountains. The beach was wonderful and just as it should be with colorful stones and driftwood chunks. The house feels secluded and private, but is very close to Lakeside (jogging there and back on lakeside road is about 4 miles) and good new restaurants. Altogether we were very pleased with the Evans House and would definitely go back."

  • A perfect play to stay!

"We spent 2 nights at the yurt as part of a week in Montana. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. The yurt is beautifully decorated with incredible attention to detail. We loved enjoying coffee on the porch with incredible views of the lake and birds, including eagles and ospreys, all around us. I can't speak highly enough about the gourmet breakfasts Michele prepared- delicious, creative and beautifully presented. We also loved kayaking on the lake and the view from the pier. All in all, it was a wonderful, beautiful and relaxing visit and we highly recommend that everyone stay here if they have the chance."

  • best vacation ever

"we had a mini-family reunion at this FABULOUS house in Montana and I cant speak highly enough about it. House is impeccable. The view is outstanding, overlooking the lake with the mountains in the background. All amenities are included, we didn't even have to get toilet paper. Well-stocked kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. The hot tub was wonderfully relaxing after a day of hiking or white-water rafting. Most nights we all sat on the deck just looking up at meteors and thousands of stars. Only drawback is the last few miles of road to get to the house, up a steep gravel incline but the view and location are worth it.We had a van that did just fine. Jane was the perfect hostess, answered any questions, gave great directions and hints as to where to go for fun. We liked it so much we want to move to Montana!"
