  • Great experience

"We were a party of 8 senior adults and our stay was very enjoyable. We did most of our own cooking in the kitchen and ate our meals on the very nice deck. Nice and quiet and access to the property was easy. The entire area is beautiful with plenty of activities. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had a large closet. Big pantry for storing your food. Very nice."

  • Best ever

"I cannot believe the level of comfort, charm and nurturing this home has. The pictures do not do it justice. The living room and adjoining huge balcony overlooking the woods is so comfortable you forget the reason you came was to go outside ! The kitchen has every necessary convenience, and if it doesn't have what you need... Janine, the owner, will see to it you have it at a moments notice ;-> I traveled with my husband, my brother and his wife. All of us in our early 60's. We had a blast. The park is within 10-15 minutes drive and every day we had a new outing and hike. We loved being on the west side of the park, so much to see and do. You cannot tell by the pictures but the hot tub/sauna mentioned is in a completely separate building. In the garage area of the rental house is a huge area for ping pong and foosball. The property sits on 20 acres and there are at least three outdoor sitting areas that each offer a different perspective. If there are 2, 4 or 8 of you... there is plenty of room to get off by yourself too. WE had two or three places we were considering when we chose the Ox Yoke... We are all agreed we couldn't have done better. The owner, Janine, keeps a wonderful balance of being there if you have questions, but disappearing to make certain you are not disturbed. Never have we received the service nor the kindness to equal Janine's. We envy all who come here."

  • Great views for Glacier Vacation stay

"This cabin is situated on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The location and the views were outstanding. We loved having the garage for parking and loading/unloading. We spent 4 days touring Glacier and 3 days in the surrounding areas. The cabin was in an excellent location for all of these trips. Only had one minor issue and the owners resolved it immediately. We would highly recommend this location for others."

  • Great Base to Explore Glacier

"We stayed in Hungry Horse for six nights and this home was a great launch pad to explore all parts of Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley. Ten minutes and you are at the West Glacier entrance! Fifteen minutes and you are in Whitefish or Bigfork. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the hot tub was a wonderful respite after a day of hiking, and the kitchen was well equipped -- in fact the house was just as advertised. PS - Yes there is a rooster nearby and a train in the distance, but they did not disturb our sleep and after the first night this was all white noise and easily ignored. (In fact, we were probably listening a little more than usual due to the other reviews.)"
