"We recently spent 4 nights at this property, and it was EXACTLY what we were looking for! Fairly remote, peaceful, quiet, close to Conner, Darby, and not too far from Hamilton... And right in the middle of the mountains and forest, with rivers and lakes all around! We found oodles of huckleberries nearby to pick and consume, and my family of 7 (5 kids!) enjoyed all the outdoor opportunities to play and/or relax! This house (2 buildings, actually) gave us lots of sleeping options, and our oldest (teenage) son loved being able to sleep in the room over the garage and away from the house (apart from the house but not too far!).
The owners were wonderful to us, helping us on site as well as working hard to mail us some things we accidentally left behind. Very nice to have that, as it's above and beyond the call. Bottom line, we felt at home, and although it isn't a super "plush" place, it's exactly as advertised, which we appreciated. We'd stay here again if we plan a trip this way in the future!"

"WE have been to Whitefish many times to ski, and have to say this is the best possible location if you want quick and easy access to the mountain (5 min trip) the place was quiet and cozy. Had all the amenities you could need, and a trip into the lovely town of Whitefish took maybe 15 min tops.
Will was so helpful and answered all of our questions immediately.
The bag of breads and goodies just made this trip all the more perfect!
Free Wifi was the icing on the cake!"

"Our family enjoyed this cottage and lake for 2 very relaxing weeks.
It was wonderful to truly relax enjoying the peace and comfort of this lake cottage. We weren’t sure if two weeks at one lake would be too long but it was great. It worked largely because everything was so well set up. The canal connecting both lakes gave us the option of enjoying both a small and medium size lake.
The lake was great for swimming, boating, and fishing. It was so nice to enjoy a lake with warm water. The pedal boat was great for fishing in the shallows. Steve and the boys caught a lot of small fish, a few medium fish, but never went deep enough for the big one. There were a lot of turtles in the water. It took a couple of days of hard work for our 14 year old son to catch one. Catching one was a highlight of the trip for sure. The crayfish are silly animals to catch – we let them all go. Sitting on the lake front with a camp fire many evenings was a very good family experience.
The cabin had all the amenities we could want, easily accommodating all of our needs. The newly renovated bathroom was a bonus. We had a couple of rainy days that were perfect for visiting Libby and Kalispell, and do grocery shopping. We used WIFI to watch Netflix on a couple of those rainy evenings on the new big tv. Glacier Park is also close and so we made a couple of trips there, but our focus was truly to just relax and enjoy the lake."

"Wonderful house, wonderful location, wonderful owners to work with. What more can we say? Outstanding on every front, perfect home away from home for a family of four and a chocolate lab. Used this as a base camp for trips to Whitefish, Polebridge, Bigfork, and into Glacier. Coming back in 2015, enough said!"
