  • Crown jewel in Glacier country!!

"My wife and I could hardly believe the lodging find we had contracted for 2 weeks. Before I expand on the statement, I must say how easy and helpful Greg was before and during the stay. The cabin is centrally located for easy access to the park; tops 10 min. to the West Glacier. We didn't eat out much because the kitchen is better stocked than my own (and it's not shabby) but if you do then try Greg's bar and grill, Packer's Roost; great hamburgers and fries! The cabin is comfortable, clean, and fully furnished: electronics, TV, cable, Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and Greg installed an air conditioner!! Plenty of linens and towels; all equipment is state of the art. The "neighborhood" keeps being brought up. Nothing wrong with neighbors; only saw one or two in 2 weeks and never heard a peep from the bar & grill on the main drag. Remember you are in Montana, not Manhattan where the deer, antelope, and bears roam, not gangbangers and everyone carries a weapon of some sort, even me. Would love to make it back in winter just to see what 8' of snow is all about!!"

  • Martin City holiday home

"We just returned from our stay at the Moore House. I cannot write enough positive information about this beautiful property. The house, architecturally, is a testimony to craftsmanship. The rooms are spacious with plenty of light. The owners live in the house except during the times of leasing; then move to their caravan. This is helpful, as the owners are very kind and prepared to answer all questions. An additional bonus is that there is plenty of kitchenware, as well as an immaculate kept house. The acreage surrounding the house is a feast for the eyes. The garden is lush; with flowers as well as herbs. The owners allow access to the fresh herbs for cooking. The location is perfect for going to Glacier Park as well as Flathead Lake, maybe 10 minutes away at the most.....so many day trips are possible. Since the location is near the woods, we even saw deer while relaxing on the patio. For my city bred grandchild, this was quite a treat!! I would highly recommend this place for a holiday. In terms of my recommendations: we fit almost all of the below boxes. My daughter is mildly spastic; climbing the stairs to the basement/loft; was ok, we put her one of the main bedrooms,[plenty of beds in this house!!!] I have mild arthritis, and had no problems with climbing the stairs, my teenage nephews liked the privacy that the house and yard well afford, the 7 year old loved playing hide& go-seek on the property & that he cd have a snowball fight in the park, in July. Even though there is plenty of media access in the house, we chose not to turn on in forms of electronic entertainment. Go! Enjoy! Relax!!"

  • Great House and Owner

"The house was extremely comfortable and clean. Owner left everything we needed for our week in the park. He was helpful. Our family of six fit well with the queen master, queen bedroom and bunk beds. The loft bed is in the room with a queen. We enjoyed the grill and outdoors."

  • Abbot cottage is a great escape nestled at Glaciers west entrance.

"This cottage was very inviting and provided all the necessary elements needed for a relaxing getaway. Very comfortable and situated in a great location. Not too close or far away from many great places. Visited Glacier, had a fun and successful day of fishing at Whitefish lake and cruised Yaak Valley. What a fun time and thanks for sharing a piece of your heaven with us, oh and the wine."
