"This was an absolutely wonderful vacation...dad and son rode out on Harleys, mom in her mustang convertible and daughter and grand baby in SUV...guys thought they would do more riding but once we arrived at this awesome property, it was clear hanging out, watching wildlife and fly fishing were the order of the day...top that with a trip to the Dirty Shame Saloon in Yaak and Home Bar in Troy, what more could you ask for. We are trying fr next yea but longer time. Loved every minute of this beautiful home and amazing location."

"My family loved this cabin. We have two girls, 8 and 5, and they couldn't get enough of the river and cabin. Charlie met us at the cabin upon arrival and provided a tour of the place. The fire pit and outdoor sauna were a nice touch. I'd highly recommend paying the extra few bucks for access to the river toys and bikes. My 8 year old really took to paddle boarding and having a kayak or canoe to follow her around in was helpful. The 5 year old loved riding shotgun on the paddle board and kayak. Both really enjoyed swimming in the river which wasn't too cold. Location is only a few minutes from Bigfork which was nice for a few restaurants and a grocery store and there is a nice bike that you can take to get downtown. Agree with other reviews that suggest packing bug spray - from later afternoon until bedtime there's quite a few out there. Access to Glacier wasn't too far away (40 minute drive or so) which made day trips into the park pleasant. If we find ourselves in northern Montana again, we'll be back!"

"My husband and I had the most relaxing and fun weekend away - it was everything we were hoping for and more; beautiful scenery, secluded and quiet, room for a our lab to run, riverfront for fly-fishing and cooling off during day. Nancy and Dutch's rental is immaculate with everything you would need - all we brought was food and clothes and never missed a beat. It was 97 degrees all weekend and we used the floating tubes in the garage and hung out on the deck all day and in evenings. The home is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of games and books - the bbq seems brand new and the kitchen was great for cooking in. We will definitely be back!"

"Comfortable, secluded dwelling nestled in forested acreage with assorted wildlife. While it's located to the west of Kalispell and, so, may be more distant from Glacier than other vacation rentals, the respite from the din and bustle of business and tourist traffic and crowds is pleasant. The drive out from town passes through beautiful foothill and field country. We traveled with two unexpectedly surly teenagers who sometimes stayed behind when the adults ventured out, so the absence of temptations within walking distance was a convenient governor on their wanderlust and wiles. The hosts are available (on the same acreage), very friendly, and helpful."
