  • Thoughtfully stocked Condo--delightful alternative

"I visit Missoula often, but had not yet tried renting a condo in the Wilma. It made for a delightful vacation; the location was perfect; the views from the unit are spectacular. I particularly enjoyed the easy, auto-free access to restaurants and downtown bars. It really was a great place from which to access the town. The unit has a bit of an odd shape, due to the structure of the building, but it is very nicely appointed, and the owner has put real effort into making sure the unit is thoughtfully stocked. It also has a nice open kitchen, and an open living area that makes it easy to have guests and entertain. I will rent it again, and think that most people will find it a very nice alternative to a traditional hotel/motel."

"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for several days in mid/late-September. The property is located in a secluded area on the top of a hill that provided amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The unit is on top of the host's garage but has a private entrance in the back and suitable parking. We arrived with the unit in excellent condition, very clear directions about the place, and with many more amenities than we were expecting. There was a porch and grill, more blankets than you'd ever need, plenty of cleaning and cooking supplies, numerous maps and brochures for the park, and even a can of bear spray that we brought with us to the park (saving us a lot of money). The bathroom and location in general were even nicer than the photos suggested. Our host was extremely courteous and didn't disturb us once from arrival to departure (apart from their little dog that occasionally barked at us when we parked our car in the evening), but was very timely when helping with resolving a WiFi issue. Some things that we didn't expect were (1) the internet went at a snail's pace, but perhaps we had different expectations coming from a major metropolitan city. It was adequate for web browsing (looking up info, etc...); (2) the large glass entrance doors have no curtains, making it easy to see at night. Granted, it would probably be difficult for anyone to see into the room anyway since it's on a hill in the middle of nowhere; (3) there is heat but no air conditioning. there were several large fans provided that were perfect for our needs though; (4) If you return at night it's very dark outside - have a light to find your way up the stairs to the unit. As a positive, the night sky views are unparalleled! The location is very close to the West Glacier entrance (less than 5 minutes) and was perfect for our day hikes. Most grocery stores, shops, and restaurants were at least 15 minutes away, with the airport being about 25 minutes away - certainly manageable with a car. We had a wonderful time and were glad to return to such a great place after a full day of hiking - would recommend!"

  • Absolutely Amazing!!

"This is hands down the most beautiful place in the lower states and the condo is the most perfect place to stay and enjoy it! It is elegant, spacious and utterly comfortable. The views from the deck are breathtaking! The beds are wonderful and I've slept more soundly here than I have in years. Everything you need is provided and the folks who own and rent the condo are truly wonderful and a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things about this condo!! The location is absolutely perfect too! You are close enough to some truly lovely restaurants and a cozy little grocery store. The drive into Kalispell is beautiful and you are a few short steps from the Flathead Lake shore and a gorgeous, easy drive up to Glacier National Park. You will not find a better place to stay in the valley - the Waterside condos are elegant, private and quiet. My only regret is that I will not be able to experience this magical place over the Summer months. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful place and I guarantee you will too! :)"
