"Our family had one of the most amazing vacations at this Bull Lake home. It is the most beautiful spot on the island and so very quiet. The lake is gorgeous and the home is lovely and very comfortable. Our 2 year old grandson spent hours playing on the beach and we all had a great time swimming, fishing and relaxing. There is plenty to see in the area. Lots of great little day trips. We can't wait to go back!"

  • A find

"I have stayed three times. This is a 70's A frame which the owners/renters have put a lot into. It is cozy and comfortable and nostalgic and warm. Deer will walk through the yard. Owls will hoot back and forth across the pond. Its not far off Hwy 2, but that one mile is enough to feel like you are way out in the woods. Big porch. We always eat outside. And a nice big garage for storing the bikes we bring. Its very near the Park whether you are going through or around. Perfectly quite for sleeping at night. I always look forward to going back."

  • Scrapbooking Haven!!

"A couple times a year us Gals have a Scrapbooking Retreat - get away from kids, hubbies, etc. This was the PERFECT place for us. It is so spacious -- lots of room to set up extra tables. Plenty of light through the day with the gorgeous windows and views. The lighting in the house at night was fine for us to work in - late into the night. The beds were so comfortable and inviting. The place was very clean, very well maintained. Tucked back in the woods just off of a paved road -- and only 5 minutes from town. You don't see any neighbors - you feel like you're all by yourself. We all thoroughly loved the place. We will definitely be back. I am so glad we found this location -- it just couldn't be better for us. As far as recommending it to others -- I think we'll try and keep it for ourselves!!!!! Kidding!"

  • I enjoyed my stay

"I really liked this place. I liked the location close to town, I would go into town for coffee in the morning at a nice coffee shop. Then I would go for a bike ride and often stop at the waterfront park in town. It is a nice simple place to stay, I used the washer and dryer and had access to the garage to store my bike stuff. I thought the hot water could be a little hotter and they turned it the same day even though I told them it was a low priority."
