"Our stay at the hobbit house was wonderful. It is very well done, every detail adds to the enjoyment of the visit. Very private, relaxing and cozy. The bed is so comfortable, and the house is in pristine order. The grounds are enchanted and the host is intent on making your stay special. I highly recommend this as a must stay. Bring your own food, the kitchen is fun to cook in. The drive is worth it, the scenery is breathtaking."

"We were only able to book a short time at Cherry Pines, we left wishing we had at least two more weeks to spend there. We had all three cabins and they were all comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. We all slept well and were pleasantly tired from our outdoor activities. Such a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all.
There were three generations on this trip and the setting was perfect for all. The grounds were well kept, beautifully landscaped and so relaxing. We could look out the windows at a spectacular view....but why stay inside when you could relax on the large deck with an amazing view. I could see the kids fishing or paddle boarding from the deck. The weather was perfect and the evenings were so enjoyable around the fire pit. Horse shoe competitions were held, while some of us just relaxed in the hammocks and watched.
Bigfork was nearby-a very cute town. Hard to leave the peace and quiet of this setting....but just changed it up a bit with the shops and art galleries nearby, fun. Glacier National Park one day, very awesome.
John was great to work with and was nearby if needed.
We will be back. A great vacation, everyone loved it."

"This was our second year staying here, and "perfect" is the only description we can come up with. We consist of 2 families which included 5 teenagers. There is plenty of space for everyone, including 2 bedroom suites, so all adults have the best sleeping arrangements. A media room and multiple family rooms for gathering or cozying up with a good book, and the hot tub for after ski aches, provide something for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need, and the mezzanine level has a treadmill and little office setup, which is perfect for keeping up with work needs while the kids are sleeping. Not that you should need a thing, but if you do, Patty and Mike respond immediately, and really care that your stay is the best it can be. Overall all, it feels like home while we are here. And the location just can't be beat. Watch the sun rise as the mountain comes alive, while having morning coffee. Then step into your bindings and be on the lift in less than a minute. Truly the best ski in/ski out location on the mountain! We will definitely be back."

"My husband & I (in our 60's) & our small dogs & our pontoon boat spent 2 glorious weeks here fishing & swimming & napping & eating. The water was down so we had to swim off the boat but we saw eagles, herons, deer, squirrels, hummingbirds galore off the deck & the water. No luck fishing but the locals said they weren't biting on anything. We went to the Cedar forest nearby. Very cool. The cabin was fully equipped. It was between 90-100 degrees the whole time we were there but it was cooler in the gorgeous log cabin. The workmanship of this cabin is amazing. The lawn & beach were great too. Our dogs had a blast too!"
