  • Second Time Around --- Just as nice as before!

"This was the second time we stayed at Sentinel Pine and it was just as beautiful as it was the summer before. It was earlier in the season and the weather was not as warm, so the estate had a different feel to it. We spent more evenings inside the main lodge this time around, staying cozy and playing games. Though on the last day the sun came out and we were sunbathing on the dock again. Amazing kitchen for large group dinners, yet enough space for everyone to do their own thing during the day. Great venue for a large group! Owners were awesome in reserving, and the groundskeepers were attentive and helpful during our stay. A+! Again!"

"Best rental cabin experience yet. Well equipped, clean and cozy. Location is private, perfect for relaxing, and close to hiking, fishing, and conveniences."

  • Montana adventure

"I have stayed at the house for the last 2 summers, bringing my 3 grandsons (ages 6 to 11) out from the East Coast and meeting up with my brother in Missoula. The trips have opened up a whole new world to the boys. It’s a thrill to see their enthusiasm for the outdoors and to have them talk all through the next year about the wild turkeys and the bald eagle they saw. The house is a good fit for our needs. It’s a summer place, built 20 or 30 years ago with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, plus a fold out couch in the living room. In terms of amenities, it has all the usual kitchen facilities plus TV and high speed internet. The house is not that fancy and on a secluded lake but it’s a nice touch that they provide high end sheets and towels. We spent a lot of time on the large dock just a few steps down from the house. The boys never seem to get tired of running off the end of it and jumping in the lake. The dock is aluminum and can accommodate a good size ski boat but since we don’t have one, we just go out in the canoe that is left there for renters. There are larger, newer houses on either side of this one but they are farther back from the lake with quite a few trees in between, so we felt like we had some privacy when we cooked on the BBQ and ate outdoors on the picnic tables. Hope we can go again next summer but as overscheduled as my grandsons seem to be, I don’t know."

  • Excellent vacation

"Upon arriving at the property and walking out onto the deck we couldn't help stopping and admiring the view across the lake to the tree line ridge , the mountains thick with pine trees and the crystal clear water. Entering the house we found it very warm, cozy and inviting. The kitchen was small but not a problem the rest of the home was very comfortable for 3 families with 3 young children. The spiral staircase worried the moms the first day but after rules and how to's were explained the kids and moms were fine. It's a gorgeous property and views are outrageous. The boating was excellent , all the lake people were great. Nice and quiet."
