"A cabin on a lake is one thing; an entire lake all to yourself in a beautiful river valley is quite another. That's what Cyara is, and it is a truly magical experience to spend a week there. Peace and solitude to this degree are unknown in today's world. The setting is gorgeous, the cabins are completely charming. There is everything here for adults and children to enjoy an unforgettable vacation. And all is comfortable and convenient, even for city folk! My husband and I love all of Montana but this spot is our favorite. And since our family reunion at Cyara our Los Angeles children love it too. They can't wait to go back and do it all again!"

"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for several days in mid/late-September. The property is located in a secluded area on the top of a hill that provided amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The unit is on top of the host's garage but has a private entrance in the back and suitable parking. We arrived with the unit in excellent condition, very clear directions about the place, and with many more amenities than we were expecting. There was a porch and grill, more blankets than you'd ever need, plenty of cleaning and cooking supplies, numerous maps and brochures for the park, and even a can of bear spray that we brought with us to the park (saving us a lot of money). The bathroom and location in general were even nicer than the photos suggested. Our host was extremely courteous and didn't disturb us once from arrival to departure (apart from their little dog that occasionally barked at us when we parked our car in the evening), but was very timely when helping with resolving a WiFi issue.
Some things that we didn't expect were (1) the internet went at a snail's pace, but perhaps we had different expectations coming from a major metropolitan city. It was adequate for web browsing (looking up info, etc...); (2) the large glass entrance doors have no curtains, making it easy to see at night. Granted, it would probably be difficult for anyone to see into the room anyway since it's on a hill in the middle of nowhere; (3) there is heat but no air conditioning. there were several large fans provided that were perfect for our needs though; (4) If you return at night it's very dark outside - have a light to find your way up the stairs to the unit. As a positive, the night sky views are unparalleled!
The location is very close to the West Glacier entrance (less than 5 minutes) and was perfect for our day hikes. Most grocery stores, shops, and restaurants were at least 15 minutes away, with the airport being about 25 minutes away - certainly manageable with a car. We had a wonderful time and were glad to return to such a great place after a full day of hiking - would recommend!"

"My wife and I visited this wonderful log cabin in February for a ski vacation. The ski resort was close by so I went skiing while my wife stayed home sitting by the cozy fire. We did do some exploring up into Glacier Park (as far as one could go). The amenities of the cabin were wonderful: gas stove and grill, wood stove, large master suite. The huge picture windows allowed the full moon to shine through! Overall, a wonderful experience. Can't wait to return!"
