  • Great experience!!

"Great place to stay when you are in the whitefish area. The owners are great people and are very accommodating. Would love to go back."

  • Consistently Great Family Experience

"It's getting hard to find new ways to state the positive qualities that keep us returning to this unit. Our 6th consecutive Spring Break was as enjoyable as the first in terms of the comfort and convenience of the condo, the snow the Big Mountain offered, and dealing with its thoughtful owner. If college calendars align, we'll be back again next year."

  • Fall Foliage on Flathead

"Due to the unusually cool summer, our trip happened to coincide with the peak of fall foliage in Glacier this year. It was spectacular. The Flathead and Swan Valleys have been one of our favorite (and most frequent) vacation destinations these last 14 years, but we had never seen it in September until now. It was just beautiful. The house was great, it was well appointed, the kitchen had all the necessities, (including cooking spices, etc), and the sunsets were amazing. My three year old daughter had to "take care of the trees" by hugging every one of them each time she climbed the stairs. It's a memory we will all enjoy for years to come. It is easily one of the nicest vacation rentals around "greater Bigfork", but what truly sets this one apart is its owner. She went out of her way to keep our vacation relaxed and worry free. She was so easy to deal with and kept the "rules" simple. Just treat the house like you would your own. That seems obvious to most people who would pay $5,000 a week for lodging but you might be surprised by the unreasonable rules at other area homes. We actually chose a home on neighboring Swan Lake initially, (despite the higher price tag), but the contract was so unreasonable, it was hard to imagine having any fun at all. Who wants to spend their vacation worried about getting fined for leaving the TV remote on the wrong table? That's when we found Bert's beautiful home, but what sold us on this rental was her easy going nature. This was a beautiful property with a very helpful and pleasant owner, and it made for a perfect vacation. We would encourage anyone considering a stay in Bigfork to call Bert and decide for yourself. We will definitely rent from her again when we return. (Although we might try out the Swan River property next time just for fun.) EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! ABSOLUTELY CHOOSE THIS RENTAL! (Oh, and the deposit was returned in full the day after we checked out.) - Thanks again for a great time!"

  • Blooming balsamroot in every direction

"A thoughtfully designed, comfortable cabin with room for several guests. Gorgeous 360 views of mountains, a nature trail on the property, and deer and turkeys for neighbors. Ten minutes after unpacking, we were enjoying the sun on the deck, with our only visitor a jewel-green hummingbird. Each morning we had coffee and listened to black capped chickadees. Inside you'll find a claw foot tub and French doors in addition to laundry and pretty much anything you'd need. Rosemary was very helpful and kind to us. We hope to return soon."
