  • Love At First Sight!!

"We stayed at The Glacier Chalet from Sept 8-15th 2014. We Loooooooved the cabin and location. Lots of wildlife sightings daily. Easy drive to Glacier National Park. Watched the resident beaver collect "groceries" daily and take them into her lodge. Saw a black bear swim across the river.......Twice! Saw an elk herd cross the river, saw plenty of deer, and watching the chipmunks daily was a laughfest! The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. The owner was very informative about the area and answered every question we had. Thank you very much for that! We will definitely be back to stay again at this cabin!!!!"

  • Best trip of our lives!!!

"Words can't even express how perfect our trip to Montana was! Glacier National Park and all surrounding areas are breathtaking. My husband and I have never been to this part of the country before, and now we feel like a part of us will always be there. This cabin was the icing on the cake. It is adorable and super cozy! The views are spectacular and watching wildlife on the river is very enjoyable. We would both recommend staying at this cabin on your trip to the area. We will always remember this vacation fondly. It is one for the books."

  • Winter Wonderland

"The Tucker cabin was a little bit of winter paradise, waking up to a portrait of the snow covered mountains viewed through the dining room or living room windows. The cabin was perfect for us- kitchen stocked with utensils and cookware, the dining room with the beautiful light fixture and comfortable seating, and a cozy living room with the fireplace which was both functional and beautiful. We felt a sense of connection to Grandma and Grandpa Tucker with the recipes and notes framed on the kitchen walls. We couldn't have picked a better spot to relax, while at the same time, we were close to Glacier National Park and the Flathead River. We would love to come back in summer!"

  • Great base for exploring Glacier NP and surrounding areas

"All the other reviews are 100% correct. The cabin is the cleanest and best maintained rental peoperty we've ever encountered ( and we've rented a lot all over the map). It is perfectly situated for outings into Glacier ( west as well as east sides).Small towns are close enough for occasional shopping trips,if neccessary, but you will only need fresh stuff,as the cabin is so well equipped. There was even a welcome basket - unheard of in other rentals. This is clearly not a money-making machine, but a labor of love by the owners. Both are extremely welcoming and helpful in every way - we were treated as guests, not only paying customers. As for the traffic noise that someone mentioned: The street has very little traffic, and the trains were clearly audible, but it didn't bother us at all.It was quiet at night ( or we are extremely sound sleepers),and during the day we were mostly out exploring. It could be an issue for people who seek absolute solitude and quietness and if you want to spend most of your time in or around the cabin...... We'd rent this cabin again any time we come back to this beautiful area!"
