"We really enjoyed our stay at the Eagles Nest. It was a beautiful home and was nicely decorated and very clean. It was perfect for us, a couple with 2 children. Beds were super comfortable. It was on a nice quiet street. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was no WIFI and minimal television channels. When we arrived there was smoke from forest fires and we could not do internet research or find any news about what was going on. Fortunately the smoke cleared. The price was great but I think I would rather pay a little more for WIFI."Guest: Shannon C. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 31, 2014View listing
"I just came back from a three day stay at this property with a group of my friends and what a gem! Great view of the mountain, ski in/ski out, walking distance to the Beirstube and Hellroaring - the list goes on. The bedrooms were all comfortable with ensuites, even a couple with jet tubs. The main dining area was very functional and great for everyone to get together. The owner Sarah that I dealt with was great. Very prompt responses, gave additional information about the surrounding area and very accomodating at all times. I would definitely recommend this place and I myself plan to stay here again on my next excursion to Whitefish."Guest: Ryan Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 19, 2014View listing
"What a fantastic home! My husband and I got married in Glacier in August and stayed here with both families. After the ceremony, we actually held the reception in the backyard and it made for an absolutely magical night. Slept 12 adults very comfortably with plenty of room to spare. Everything is new and kept up very well with great decor. The owners are very helpful and friendly- prompt returning the deposit as well. Couldn't have had a better experience. Definitely would recommend staying here for ski vacations, summer trips, weddings, whatever. Everyone had a fantastic time here... Many memories made."Guest: Erika H. "Looking back at the photos and the listing now that we are home, I must say that they really don't do it justice. This was the most comfortable stay we've had. Property is very well maintained and in immaculate condition. The owners were most helpful in advance in answering any questions that came up. We really appreciated the special touches that you don't always find: all paper, laundry, and kitchen soaps provided, Wine and snack basket upon arrival, wonderful fluffy towels, cozy fireplace, bear spray for hikers, music, TV and lighting options, and great beds. We would highly recommend a stay at this property."Guest: Kathy Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 25, 2014View listing

In Whitefish, this will never be a problem since both forms of skiing are available, among other things like snowmobiling, bicycling, fishing, horseback riding, and much more. If there is a photographer in your group, the scenic views, beautiful mountains, and lakes will be a haven for them. Taking Time to Enjoy the Cuisine at Whitefish Lodging
On vacation you might want to get away from it all, even the necessary evil of cooking. Lodges and resorts in the area will supply their own restaurants and there are numerous local establishments as well. While Whitefish lodging can be comfortable, if you want more privacy there are Whitefish vacation rentals in town and on the outskirts of town. These homes are going to have kitchens but you can still explore the variety of cuisine the village has to offer. Some of the local establishments include Blue Bakery and Cafe, The Whitefish Times Coffee House, Trailhead Deli, The Stube and Chuckwagon Grill, and even some Microbreweries.
The Stube and Chuckwagon Grill is one of the local theaters mentioned above. They have a western show which differs from the traditional acting theater. The show offers music, a bit of comedy, and a look at life in the Old West when ranching, cattle drives, and home-cooked meals were essential.
