  • Awesome Property!

"This property is gorgeous inside and out! The bedrooms are spacious, each with their own full bathroom. The kitchen is extremely high end with very nice plates, dishes etc... The location is perfect. We walked right to the base lift out our back door and enjoyed the scenic chairlift to the top of the mountain where we had a delicious lunch. Glacier and the town of Whitefish are not far and we enjoyed several day trips from the property. Setting up the stay was easy and Margaret was available for all questions and concerns. I gave this property 4 stars because of the lack of air conditioning(which we were told beforehand by Margaret). Sleeping is on the 3rd floor and temps reached 90's for our entire stay. It did cool down at night but our neighbors had multiple generations of smokers outside our windows at all hours of the day and night and they stayed up late in the hot tub making noise in the wee hours of the morning. If this were winter this place would be a five star hands down! I would still recommend it, maybe we just had a patch of bad luck with the renters next door."

  • Third visit was just as awesome as the previous visits!

"Just returned from our 3rd yr in a row at this wonderful place! Beautiful setting on a bend in the Yaak River. Home is large, spacious and has everything you’d need in it’s well appointed kitchen. A charming cabin sits just yds away from the house and can accommodate up to 6. Very clean and comfortable. Not much to look at from the outside, but once you open the door you have an aha moment!"

  • Wow! Wonderful!

"I wish we could stay here longer! Condo is a mix of Italian palazzo and craftsman style. Large wood deck overlooks a raging river of mountain runoff. Bed is comfortable, kitchen has a few basic supplies, and washer/dryer is a bonus. TV is very small to watch from couch, but the picturesque scenery is what this is all about. Located in a professional building housing a lawyer, natural oil mfg, and counselors, it was a little hard to find. But the reward! 'Brookies Cookies" is located at the end of the building. Best choc. chip cookies ever! We drove 45 minutes into West Glacier for a daytrip. Best to go in late June or later - Road to Sun was only open first 16 miles - not to the summit. This condo provided us the best vacation rental experience we have ever had. Friendly folks with whom to work, very clean condo and awesome scenery. It's the best!"

  • Great base for exploring Glacier NP and surrounding areas

"All the other reviews are 100% correct. The cabin is the cleanest and best maintained rental peoperty we've ever encountered ( and we've rented a lot all over the map). It is perfectly situated for outings into Glacier ( west as well as east sides).Small towns are close enough for occasional shopping trips,if neccessary, but you will only need fresh stuff,as the cabin is so well equipped. There was even a welcome basket - unheard of in other rentals. This is clearly not a money-making machine, but a labor of love by the owners. Both are extremely welcoming and helpful in every way - we were treated as guests, not only paying customers. As for the traffic noise that someone mentioned: The street has very little traffic, and the trains were clearly audible, but it didn't bother us at all.It was quiet at night ( or we are extremely sound sleepers),and during the day we were mostly out exploring. It could be an issue for people who seek absolute solitude and quietness and if you want to spend most of your time in or around the cabin...... We'd rent this cabin again any time we come back to this beautiful area!"
