  • Family Reunion

"The description & photos are accurate in the listing for this rental home, except for the fact that the location is even more scenic & relaxing in person. The property has everything you need & the owner was able to greet us & tell us about the place. It's close to Lakeside & Polson where there are markets, shopping, boat rentals & a museum. We had a wonderful time & would definitely recommend this place & would stay here again."

  • A find

"I have stayed three times. This is a 70's A frame which the owners/renters have put a lot into. It is cozy and comfortable and nostalgic and warm. Deer will walk through the yard. Owls will hoot back and forth across the pond. Its not far off Hwy 2, but that one mile is enough to feel like you are way out in the woods. Big porch. We always eat outside. And a nice big garage for storing the bikes we bring. Its very near the Park whether you are going through or around. Perfectly quite for sleeping at night. I always look forward to going back."

  • Wow! Wonderful!

"I wish we could stay here longer! Condo is a mix of Italian palazzo and craftsman style. Large wood deck overlooks a raging river of mountain runoff. Bed is comfortable, kitchen has a few basic supplies, and washer/dryer is a bonus. TV is very small to watch from couch, but the picturesque scenery is what this is all about. Located in a professional building housing a lawyer, natural oil mfg, and counselors, it was a little hard to find. But the reward! 'Brookies Cookies" is located at the end of the building. Best choc. chip cookies ever! We drove 45 minutes into West Glacier for a daytrip. Best to go in late June or later - Road to Sun was only open first 16 miles - not to the summit. This condo provided us the best vacation rental experience we have ever had. Friendly folks with whom to work, very clean condo and awesome scenery. It's the best!"

  • Charming House!

"There is nothing but good which I can say about the Candy Kitchen! Our family loved it there! I loved the layout of the house, the kitchen was a joy to use, the beds were comfortable. I even loved the laundry room! This home has many special extra touches and I wish I could have spent more time there! The manager Colleen was very nice to work with and most accommodating! You could also walk to the Lodge or the Restaurants from the Candy Kitchen. The back porch was another great feature of the Candy Kitchen, it was used often by my daughters to read or rock their babies to sleep! My grandson loved playing in the fenced in yard! You will not be disappointed if you rent the Candy Kitchen!"
