"Very beautiful cabin in a great mountain location. The pictures don't really do it justice. Plenty of room for a family with 2 teenagers and a dog! The spiral staircase wasn't a problem for our dog - she simply wasn't interested in trying it. The location was perfect! Plenty of privacy and only a short drive to historical Phillipsburg. So peaceful and quiet! The owner is easy to work with and very helpful. We had a wonderful time exploring Phillipsburg's restaurants, microbrewery, and shops, and panning for sapphires. The jeep ghost town tour with Eric from High Country Adventures was definitely worth it and a fun time. Be sure to try Friday Night Pizza - it's amazing. We will definitely be back!"

"It was great to unplug from the real world at this cabin. No TV, Internet or cell phone service, unless you go on top of the mountain.. Cabin is beautiful and cozy. Had amazing time with family, kids had a blast. Was great to see how kids have not even mentioned that they miss TV or computer games while at this cabin. They always had something to do, fish, swim, tube, play darts, board games, hike.. Taught my kids how to catch crawfish..The best thing was jumping in to the river of the big rocks, that brought back some great childhood memories..
It was amazing to wake up in the morning in to such a great view, nature and landscape there is amazing and peaceful.
Fishing was great, we caught about 7-8 Rainbow trout, one of them was about 25".
Thank you Ruth for letting us stay at your cabin, it was most amazing time.."

"Bob welcomed us at his front door as soon as we arrived. We instantly fell in love with this place. I could tell that Bob and Nancy made sure that their guest are comfortable. This home was perfect for just the two of us and our dog. It was clean and stocked with everything you ever needed on a vacation. Lots of room and very quiet. My favorite part of the house was the porch. Love the porch! Sat out watching the full moon or on the swing to watch the sun set. Perfect!
It is an easy walk to town. We visited Granite Ghost town and Garnet Ghost town which is about an hour drive towards Missoula. Gem mountain is a great place to get your hands dirty in finding as many sapphires you can. We didn't eat out much because I am food sensitive but what my friends tell me, Silver Mill is to die for. Doe Brothers Ice Cream...OMG! Hamilton has some great mountain biking trails. We didn't have enough time to venture trails in Philipsburg. There is so much to do in this small town. We will definitely be returning.
Thank you again Bob and Nancy for inviting us in your home."
