  • Perfect Fall Weekend

"The best thing we liked was the great views from the house onto Flathead Lake and being right on the water. We brought our kayaks and launched right from the beach below the house. Even my 87 year old mother-in-law joined us for a kayak ride to look at all the beautiful houses along the shore. Navigating the many stairs to get from the house down to the beach was challenging, but a good work-out :) The only disappointment was one very small bathroom for 7 adults. We wished there would have been a second bathroom in the lower level of the home where bedrooms are located, especially during the night. The stairs between the main level of the home to the lower level are narrow and steep probably due to the age of the home. Everyone had a great time and details offered to guests were not overlooked by the owners."

  • Hawaii fishermen find a fun, new experience

"On behalf of our group, I want to express my sincere thanks for helping us have a fantastic time in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Your recommendations were most helpful, without which we would have wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out for ourselves. The group thoroughly enjoyed the experience and all agreed they had a wonderful time. They liked the cabin and it worked out just fine for all of us. It was clean, espeially the bathrooms. Internet worked when needed for an urgent business matter back home. Three of us guys bunked in one of the upstairs bedrooms and our married couple had the MBR. One other guy slept in the guest log cabin in the back yard. We all slept well. We liked the Clark’s Fork best of all even though other rivers or streams were scenic and fun to fish. We primarily fished the Clark’s Fork just inside the Wyoming line that has beautiful gorges with rapids and pools. The Yellowstone is also an impressive river in other ways. After fishing there and then hiking back to the Gardner River parking lot, we enjoyed a dip in the “Hot Tub” in the Gardner River. What a pleasant way to end the day! We also fished Soda Butte, Slough Creek, Lamar and Firehole. We caught plenty of fish including one or two guys getting a four trout (Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brook and Brown) grand slam. This is a trip we all would like to do again some time. Thanks again for your help."

  • Wonderful stay!

"Everything contained in the listing description is accurate. The cabin (house) is fairly new construction and it has all of the amenities you need (you do have to go without cable tv and wifi). The location is fantastic in a bit of a secluded bay without too much other boat traffic (other than our own:)) The cabin was very clean and well maintained and the owners really take a lot a pride in renting this property."

  • A find

"I have stayed three times. This is a 70's A frame which the owners/renters have put a lot into. It is cozy and comfortable and nostalgic and warm. Deer will walk through the yard. Owls will hoot back and forth across the pond. Its not far off Hwy 2, but that one mile is enough to feel like you are way out in the woods. Big porch. We always eat outside. And a nice big garage for storing the bikes we bring. Its very near the Park whether you are going through or around. Perfectly quite for sleeping at night. I always look forward to going back."
