  • Fish On!

"Accommodations were great house is beautiful and spacious, great place to get away. Fishing the Mo was a blast no idea how many we caught but it was well over 100. Scenery off the back deck is fantastic, saw tons of wildlife and spent hours watching satellites wiz by in the great Montana sky. Great trip will do it again soon."

  • Great week at Beehive Base Camp - and good smores

"My husband and our four daughters, ages 12 - 19, stayed at Beehive Base Camp for six nights in August. The house was gorgeous and exactly as shown in the pictures. No negative surprises. My family has rented many houses over the years and, I have to say, this one was probably best equipped we've ever stayed in. The one thing they didn't have was utensils to roast marshmellows and, when we asked Big Sky Rentals about it, they brought us some the next day - with marshmellows and chocolate bars. Now, that's service. Our hot tub was out of commission one day and they had it fixed the next. The master bedroom is amazing - terrific shower. There is also a very nice apartment over the garage with a bedroom, kitchen and living room. We didn't use it at all as there were only 6 of us. The other bedrooms were very nice with a double bed in one and two sets of bunkbeds in the other two. We had several days of rain and cool weather so we stayed in the house quite a bit. There's many great seating areas where you can snuggle up with a good book. We also used the gas fireplace. Our kids loved the pool table and air hockey downstairs. We also played games out of the game box. We did several hikes when the weather permitted. The 6.6 mile Beehive hike was quite strenous for our clan. The short Ousel Fall hike was more our speed. We also drove to Yellowstone one day. We left early and packed our lunches. It's awsome but overwhelming. You can't see it all in one day. I would go through the West entrance as the North is quite a drive. We did both. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. It was a bit large for 6 people. It sleeps 14 but I think 10 or 12 would be perfect. Would be great for a big family gathering or if 2 families wanted to go together."
