"We had a wonderful week in Livingston and used this charming restored cottage as our base of operations (2 parents, daughter-age 18, son-age 20). We were in town for a family wedding and it was so nice to have a HOME rather than a hotel room. The cottage is clean, well-maintained, well-equipped, and ideally situated in town near the intersection of 7th and Geyser. Lovely remodeled bath, hardwood floors, basement sitting area, washer, dryer, patio area with cushioned chairs and glass top table, grill, parking on street or via alley in back, internet, TV. The bedroom window AC units were used only 1 night, simply opening the windows and doors in the evening cooled the house readily. We walked to our other family member's rental homes and to Sacajawea Park (yes, here they use the spelling with a 'j') right down the block. In between all the wedding festivities the girls did Yellowstone, Chico Hot Springs, and the shops in town while the boys did a few bachelor nights at a local ranch, went fly fishing and skeet shooting. We even dog-sat a few evenings for the very busy bridal couple - the house is dog-friendly, has room inside for a kennel if needed, and has a fenced back yard. We loved walking the pup around the neighborhood (be sure to look for the street names in the concrete at the sidewalk corners - Lewis, Clark, Yellowstone, etc....) and by the end of our week we felt truly at home (even met some of the neighbors). This town has a fabulous dining vibe - try Gil's (Best. Grits. Ever.) and the Beanery for breakfast, Mustang for lunch, the 2nd Street Bistro for dinner, and get your meat at Matt's Meats for a great home-cooked meal in the nice kitchen. It was a pleasure working with Brooke, the agent, she was responsive to all our needs and queries. We'll be back!"
