"We had a wonderful stay at the Hermitage. The architectural design of the cabin was something we marveled at throughout our stay. Michael built this cabin by hand in the 1970s and the craftsmanship and details were incredible. We will definitely stay here again if we decide to venture north to Montana."

"Our family stayed at this home for 4 nights and we loved it. The Stillwater river that runs alongside this house is so beautiful and relaxing. The home is very comfortable and nice. Julie and Tim were the perfect hosts. They took us horseback riding which was so fun and Julie also took my daughter and her cousin on a hike. They are so easy to work with and very flexible and took care of everything that we needed. If we ever get the chance, we will return to this nice home and very special owners."

As advertized! Couldn't have found a better choice!
"Great quiet location with great Beartooth Mountain views. River right behind the cabin that puts you to sleep at night. I actually cought some very nice Rainbow Trout in the river. Nice /cute log cabin with everything you need (really). Wrap around porch is perfect for having a glass of wine at dusk and enjoy the plethora of wildlife that scatters through the property. Also nice to grill out. Great yard for the dog! Cabin is 30-40 minutes from world class hiking, rafting, horseback riding and golf. The Town of Fistail is 10 minutes away and 1/2 block long with a General Store that can provide some provisions. You are 40 minutes from Red Lodge which is a very cool historic town of 1500 with great shops and restaurants and the gateway to the #1 scenic road in America (don't miss it) ! Lastly, the owner Barbara was extremely nice, super helpful in providing direction to make the best of our visit and was there for us every step of the way."
