  • The radiance of Lone Peak through the living room window is a great way to start the day!!

"This house, as advertized, is walking / bus distance from anything Big Sky has to offer. We were especially impressed with the radiant floors and the resulting comfort during consecutive sub zero days. Owner was extremely responsive to all inquires. We will be back!"

  • Whiskey Springs Cabin

"Our party of two couples stayed at Whiskey Springs for five nights and everything about it was perfect. After long days out and about Yellowstone and the surrounding area it was so nice to come home to the comfortable cabin and just hang out and relax. It was very clean, bedding was excellent, towels were so soft and fluffy. We would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone and we will stay there again for sure if we come back that way."

  • Wonderful Home and VIews!!

"Yellowstone North Gate House was wonderful!! The house offers great views and is decorated very well.. We would not hesitate to recommend this home, it was a great base for our visit to Yellowstone! The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to have many wonderful meals during our stay. The kitchen included a variety a pots, pans, cooking utensils, waffle maker, blender, etc. The living and dining area provided wonderful views! The furniture was very nice and well cared for. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck after spending our day in Yellowstone. We even had the honor of being visited by several elk on multiple occasions. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The fact the each floor included a bedroom and bathroom worked well for our group. Thermostats on each floor was also appreciated! The owner included many extras such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissue, hair dryers, extra pillows, blankets, and an extra air mattress. The homeowner has thought of everything needed to ensure your stay is great. There was even a welcome basket of snacks and drinks on the dining table upon our arrival. We would not hesitate to return to this home!!"

  • Pros and cons

"So there are lots of good things about this townhome but also some negative things too that can easily be remedied. The location is great and we always enjoy walking and biking around the golf course when we visit Red Lodge. It has new tile and new carpet and what seems to be fairly new furniture. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable and the bath towels are super thick. The kitchen is fairly well stocked but could use a blender, tongs and simple grill utensils for the charcoal grill. We couldn't find grill utensils but had a charcoal grill available to use. We are a family that eats in most of the time. It was also nice to have the patio to relax on and store our bikes. We also enjoyed the hot tub. On to the negative but easily remedied - while the kitchen was swept clean, the floor was actually dirty and our socks were filthy from it. There are food crumbs and other stuff under the couch cushions of one couch. Didn't have the heart to look under the other couch. The couch was not on legs and sat very low and you sunk way into the couch which made it hard to get out of and we didn't think it was all that comfortable. That is just our personal opinion though and others may like it. There is no step to get into the hot tub and the cover and outside shell of the hot tub are in desperate need of repair. We were afraid the cover would fall apart on us. The inside of the hot tub is in great shape and it was clean. We had trouble getting the patio door locked and had to rely on the board that was by the door to use as a jam. All in all, it was an ok stay. While I understand the principle of not having extremely nice things in a rental, one also wants to have it nice enough to want to return. John was great to work with and always responded to our emails so that was a plus. I appreciate the fact that so many people are willing to rent homes to others so we don't have to get hotels."
