  • Wonderful cabin in a beautiful location.

"We stayed here for the 1st week of our honeymoon at the end of July 14 and loved the place! The condo is really spacious, very well maintained and has all the comforts of home. The master bedroom is huge and the bed is massive! The hot tub was cleaned and drained on the day we arrived and we loved using it after a nice long walk in the mountains. The property has a good barbeque and tables outside so that you can enjoy the views across the town. The location is good for the resort of Big Sky is you are there in the Ski season. We were there in summer so went for many excellent walks in the area. If you like to hike we would recommend Ouzel falls (close to the condo and a nice scenic walk which is quite easy) Beehive Basin (stunning scenery with a small lake at the end of the walk), & Lava Lake (more challenging in terms of vertical walking but a big lake is the reward & the scenery is fantastic) the first you can walk straight form the condo and the other two are about 10-20mins drive away, take bear spray. The main reason we picked the condo was for the proximity of Yellowstone National Park. We ventured to the park on 2 days during the week at the condo. It’s about 45 mins drive to the park entrance which is really convenient. It’s closer to stay in west Yellowstone if you need to be closer to the park but we preferred the condo and location of Big Sky for nicer scenery and it’s less touristy than West Yellowstone. There are lots of things to do in Big Sky aside from the walking. We went white water rafting with the Geyser WWR company which is ten mins from the condo, I would highly recommend this and we also went horse riding which was great fun. I would highly recommend these trips & they are good for all ages. From start to finish the service and help provided by the owner was excellent. We had the most amazing week in the property and the town of Big Sky was great. There are a few nice places to eat and drink in the town, the local convenience store has anything you could possibly want & they had a few events on whilst we were in town such as the PBR rodeo which was great fun. We dined at the Gallatin River Restaurant & Bucks T4 just outside of town, both were really nice informal meals and Buck’s has a complimentary shuttle bus that will pick you up and drop you off when you book dinner. In Big Sky there is a pub/restaurant called Choppers that serves good beer and tasty pub food like burgers and steaks."

  • Huge property, clean, perfect stay!

"We had a great stay at the Blue Grouse Condo. The pictures are accurate, but somehow didn't prepare us for how large and spacious it was, with an open layout and vaulted ceilings. The downstairs is like it's own apartment almost, so great for the kids having their own floor. It's very quiet, both from noise from other units as well as from floor to floor. The location is perfect. It's set up a hill a little bit away from the main neighborhood, but still a short walk to the "town" with grocery and restaurants. We loved it, and would stay there again if in the area."

  • Big sky moonlight

"We loved our stay at cowboy heaven. The ski in ski out was fabulous. We loved the views from the home and the jacuzzi was really a bonus. The pictures on the wall were breathtaking as were the views from the windows."

  • Jim A

"I have stayed in Moonlight in different homes the past 3 years, this one was definitely the best so far. The owner is so accommodating which is reflected by his incredibly accommodating home. We had an excellent trip and experience, this place made all the difference. Incredible view from the hot tub, plenty of stacked wood for the fireplace. Great location. Thanks Russ."
