"We visited this summer and fell in love with Big Sky - the scenery and the people.
The home is beautiful and every inch is decorated w/ love and small surprises. Our children loved finding all the small details. The house itself is warm, inviting and kid friendly with lots of games and children's books. (We seriously should not have brought our own!) If you are worried that the house is too modern & might not have enough of that cabin feel, the house actually blends the best of modern, cozy & mountain decors. It is well stocked w/ all the misc. spices (though, obv. replace if you use a significant amount) and kitchen gadgets. Our kids loved making homemade ice cream! We also found the homeowner and the property manager to be responsive and professional.
Specifically, we have stayed in many VBROs and have found they are usually either well managed (b/c it is an income property) but poorly stocked or well stocked but the property manager is a local friend/not a professional. THIS HOUSE IS THE BEST OF BOTH!
For example, when we noticed that there was construction next door, my husband mentioned to the property manager, Mariusz, (who checked in with us frequently but not obtrusively) that we hoped the construction would not be too loud during our stay. It was an off the cuff comment. The next thing we know, we are met with a fruit arrangement and gift certificate w/ apologizes that neither Mariusz or the home owner were aware that the next door home might be in a loud construction phase. We did not expect that & were so appreciative of the gesture. (Also, the construction was completely fine. Do not hesitate to stay there soon.) Another example, my husband forgot his computer cord (needed for work) & emailed Mariuz who immediately responded where we could get a cord.
I would not hesitate staying here again and if the property was not available, finding another home managed my High Altitude Property. Also, if you are considering Big Sky over other mountain towns, this was the first mountain vacation that no one was ready to go home. One last thing about the home, the downstairs is disability accessible and has access to the tv room. So if someone was in a wheelchair, they could easily access the patio, their bedroom/bathroom & the downstairs den (and the mudroom/laundry)."

"What a fantastic stay! The Samuel's made sure that we had everything we needed before we arrived! Any questions we had were answered quickly and with multiple answers and/or solutions. Saddle Ridge was convenient, only one mile from Big Sky and 1/4 mile from the best hike we have ever done! Beehive Basin! You must experience this hike if u are in the area! The best mountain biking trails are literally steps (or rolls) from the front door! The staff of Moonlight Lodge (50 feet from front door) was very helpful and not bad looking! Hey Sophie! I will be visiting Big Sky and Yellowstone again and will be staying in this vacation paradise again. Oh yea... West Yellowstone is only 45 minutes away. Took us about an hour and a half because of how beautiful the drive was!
Nave and friends!"

"This lovely mountain home is a wonderful vacation spot and we will return soon. We have previously rented other properties on the mountain and this is by far our favorite. We had several nights just the two of us and had family members (ranging in age from 6 to 60) come and go throughout the week. Everyone was thrilled with the accommodations (en-suite bathrooms make a big difference) The kitchen is very well appointed with high quality pans, baking/serving pieces, dishes, cooking utensils, wine glasses ,etc. For us, this particular feature was important as we enjoyed cooking in most nights. We were toasty warm, despite freezing temperatures outside there were no drafts and the interior temperature remained steady. While we visit Big Sky often in the summer this was our first winter/ski experience. What can we say other than AMAZING! Having a true ski on/ski off property made our introduction to skiing here particularly special. An easy jump onto the scenic trail (out the back door) and you are at the lift in 5 minutes. From Madison you have easy access to the entire resort. Skiing back home was just as straight forward. We enjoyed the Apple TV, wireless, fireplaces, multiple humidifiers, warm décor, candles, comfortable 'mud' room for getting ready, large garage and everything else. Oh, I almost forgot the views. The stargazing from the hot tub is indescribable. If you haven't seen the Spanish Peaks you will see them directly from the couch - spectacular. Can't wait to go back."

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Our family of ten stayed in the vacation home. It was impressive and roomy. There private hot tub did not work at the time but that was okay because we didn't really have time to use it. It was comfortable and we loved it being like a home. It was a little far to stay from west Yellowstone. It took about an hour from the vacation home to get to the gate of West Yellowstone, so the extra two hours of driving every day was hard on the kids. Overall though, it was a great place to stay."
