"Our family of four, including two teenagers, stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. This was our first visit in the summer as our previous visit 2 years ago was in the winter to ski and snowboard. The house is wonderful, everything you need, nicely decorated and furnished. The river right outside the door was perfect, but there is definitely some road noise that could be distracting at times (only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.) We visited Yellowstone, Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Ousel Falls, the farmer's market, Bozeman Stampede and did the 'Paddle and Saddle' trip with Montana Whitewater which was a half day horseback ride in the morning with a half day rafting trip in the afternoon. Everything was great and we would recommend the activities and Carmen's great cabin to anyone!"

"This is our second stay on this incredibly beautiful property. The pond is beautiful, full of nice trout. Great hiking, views and completely private. It's minutes to Big Sky and the Gallatin River. The cedar lined interior of the cabin is cozy and perfect for 2 to 4. The owners are very kind, accomodating people, and we'd HIGHLY recommend this authentic place full of history and good memories, on 260 acres! Crazy beautiful."

"Great property with lots of amenities in the house. I would have given 5 stars but the only reason that I didn't give 5 is because the house cleaners/manager misplaced the garage opener and we didn't get to use it. They told the house owner that we took the garage opener and we would've been responsible for replacing the opener. However, in the end, the cleaners and property manager found the garage opener and we got our deposit back but it took a couple of weeks before it was resolved. Otherwise, everything went perfectly and the house was very well insulated that we didn't even need to turn on the heater when the temperature was only in the 30s-40s outside. There are a lot of trails around the property. We really enjoyed the stay."

"This is a great house for a big gathering. We have a group of 12 that gets together annually for a ski vacation and always look for a house with plenty of bedrooms. This house was perfect. It's located on a very quiet and private street, about 10 minutes from the ski slopes. Our plans included skiing at Big Sky as well as snowmobiling in West Yellowstone, approximately an hour away. The common areas provided ample room for group gatherings; the kitchen was well appointed; the pool table on the bottom floor got plenty of use; the hot tub was perfect after a full day on the slopes. We did not use the pool, but I'm sure it would be a definite plus to some. Jerry stopped by on a daily basis to check on things and assist in any way possible. This was definitely a plus.
The only suggestion I may provide to the owners is to be more responsive to emails and telephone calls. A prompt response goes a long way in providing great customer service and satisfaction. Hopefully our experience was an exception."
