"Just returned from a stay here. Clean, smelled good, super stocked house, layed out perfectly, on the Yellowstone River, roomy, great water pressure, lot's of hot water, beds were comfy, I could just go on and on. I don't know a bad thing about this place. Dru, the owner, is a hard working woman who does a great job with her business. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you stay here and don't like it, go to New York City and stay on the pavement as this place is absolutely lovely. Gardiner has many fine businesses to visit, eateries, fly shops, nice grocery store that has everything a person could want. Again, I could just go on and on. I have no business ties to this place at all. My review is 100% honest. Jerry Andrews, West Virginia."

"I came to Elk Crossing for a week of skiing with a group of 12. The house had ample space, great amenities (hot tub, popcorn maker, pool table, etc...), and plenty of dishes to cook for a large group. The owners were very responsive and helpful whenever we needed to get in touch. If and when I return to Big Sky, I will definitely stay at Elk Crossing."

"We rented this condo in late June for a family trip to Yellowstone and Big Sky. With 3 adults and 2 young children, there was plenty of room for us. The place is newer and beautifully decorated, and they did have a pack n' play for our littlest one to sleep in, which was great! We really enjoyed the farmer's market (more like a craft fair) on Wednesday and free concert on Thursday in town. A few drawbacks: even with ceiling fans in the bedrooms, the house does get VERY HOT during the day, especially the master bedroom. That was the case even when it was only a high of 75 or so during the day. We tried all sorts of combinations (shades drawn, windows opened, fans on), but nothing seemed to help much. It was difficult to cool off the rooms at night. One other thing to consider-- there are a lot of stairs in the unit, so keep that in mind for those who might have trouble navigating them. I agree with reviewer Kris P. that everything in Big Sky is very expensive. But importantly, the selection in the stores was also minimal. For example, I could not find one of the two major brands of infant formula in town, nor could I find one of the two major brands of baby wipes. We tried to stock up in Bozeman beforehand, but I underestimated our needs and was not able to get those necessities in Big Sky when we ran out (I eventually found them at one "supermarket" in West Yellowstone (the other "supermarket" we tried in West Yellowstone did not have them)). So just keep that in mind when shopping for your trip. Overall, I would definitely recommend this beautiful condo!"

"It's not easy to find accommodations for 12 people, so this cabin is ideal for a group trip to Yellowstone. We used the well-appointed kitchen extensively and the propane grills on the back deck once. Everything was in working order. The property manager is very accommodating and the house was very clean. The water pressure may drop with 12 people, but we never ran out of hot water. We loved socializing in the back yard after a day of hiking Yellowstone."
