Best part of our trip!
"Ron and Kate's cabin was the 3rd stop of 5 during our road trip from Denver to Bozeman...and it was the best. Our stays in Grand Tetons, West Yellowstone, Jackson and Flagg Ranch didn't come close to what Ron and Kate offered us. They take a great deal of pride in their work and we feel fortunate to have been guests. So many great things to share..it was quiet at night and as they promised, the natural cooling and heating created by the cabin always provided the perfect temperature. The bed was soft and cozy and hard to leave. It was nice to be able to wake up and make coffee and sit on the front porch. In addition to preserving the home historically, Ron and Kate believe in green living and they provide products that support this philosophy.
We were a quick drive to downtown Bozeman..Nova Cafe for breakfast was great (the blue cornmeal hotcakes are a must!), cocktails at Plonk, and GREAT meals at Open Range and the Blackbird Kitchen. Less than 30 minutes away is the Hyalite trailhead which will lead you to MANY amazing waterfalls. They offered great advice as to where to go for laundry, meals and beautiful drives.
The construction of the cabin was remarkable. Once you see it, you'll quickly understand why they last for centuries. Ron and Kate are true preservers of time. Every morning, we felt like we were waking up in the 1800's, but with the luxuries of 2015. Kate's quilt work is AMAZING! The only thing I missed is a full length mirror. :) We would definitely recommend this to any/all and we will definitely be back! BTW...I almost hate endorsing this place so highly as I want it to remain available for when we next visit. Luckily they're working on their second rental!"

Relaxing Home; Very Convenient to Downtown and Trails
"The reason that I selected this home to rent was for the bathtub. I love to relax and read a book in the tub and this was the perfect place to do that (there was also a windowseat that was almost as good for reading as well). My trip to Bozeman was partly working and partly for fun. I liked that there were different designated areas to the loft so that I had a desk for work but could relax and read out of sight of my work desk. The location could not be more convenient. You are 4 blocks from downtown Mainstreet and about the same distance from Burke Park/Peet's Hill for those of you familiar with Bozeman.
The owners went out of their way to make certain that we had everything we needed. I was impressed with the chilled jug of water and ample coffee supply already available. There were also some recommended movies stocked. The bed was very comfortable. My husband has a bad back and is a wonderful barometer for a good bed! We had a great stay and hope the loft is available during our return visits!"

"My family has been staying at the Olive Branch for the past four years while our son attended MSU. We love the location, just a few blocks from downtown restaurants and shops, and the beautiful Bozeman Public Library. The neighborhood is wonderful-lots of cute, well-maintained homes; and there is a beautiful park and the running trails at Peet's Hill just around the corner. The rooms are comfortable and clean; it is nice to have use of the common rooms. Breakfast is serve-yourself. The innkeeper is not on-site, but always responsive to any questions; she is very accomodating and welcoming. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere."

"The owners were very nice and accommodating. We were 8 adults and 2 toddlers. The house was beautifully furnished with all the amenities; high speed WiFi, cable TV and well equipped kitchen.
There were 4 parking spaces off the street on the drive way. We didn't need to use the garage. The location is walking distance to downtown and walking distance to MSU museum. It is in a quiet tree lined historical neighborhood. The house was spacious besides the bed room there was a good size basement. The house layout allow each bed room total privacy. The TV room, dinning room, sitting room and the basement provide enough space for the family to spread out and not felt crowded.
We cooked every day in the kitchen. We had fully utilized the space, including the washer and dryer! It is a wonderful home. Absolutely beautifully maintain historical home. We thank you the owner for such pleasure."
