  • A few nights at grandma's place...

"We had a great stay here for many reasons. The location is very handy--downtown (with its shops and restaurants) is close and; yet not a source of noise or traffic; plus the road to Bridger Bowl is only a few blocks away. The home was cozy and warm (like Grandma's) during the chilly winter nights. The house is much nicer than the pictures indicate. It's filled with many antiques and older furniture and furnishings. The old house details are great! While some of the amenities were "dated" in ways like grandmas (the old, very functional electric stove, the loved couch, and the marvelous master-bedroom quilt); the house included welcome modern touches like WIFI and cable TV--which made the younger set happy. We'd love to stay here again during our next stay in Bozeman. In fact, I recommend Barbara's House over a hotel. It's much better. If this had a hot tub for the post-ski soak, we'd give it a 5-star rating, as is, it's 4-1/2 stars."

  • Ski Vacation

"Stayed at the Story Street Rental for a mini ski vacation. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of skiing. The rental is warm and cozy with lots of space for two people. It's close to MSU and downtown so it made it easy to get to restaurants and shops. We can't wait to stay at this rental again next time we are in Bozeman."

  • Great house!

"This house was perfect for our large group. We had 5 people and needed 4 bedrooms. There was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was an added bonus! Great, central location in Bozeman. I highly recommend this house. I am now in love with Bozeman and hope to return!"

  • Beautiful home!

"Our extended family gathered in Bozeman for New Years (Dec 2014). The home is absolutely beautiful and the art work is lovely. It is well furnished and spacious enough to host a large group for meals and entertaining. We have 17 people in our family and we comfortably dined and relaxed together during the days. There were a few items that needed to be moved out of reach of the toddler (2.5), but that was easily accomplished. Some of our favorite things about the home: well stocked kitchen (utensils, etc), key pad on the door (no need for keys), use of the garage, the jet bathtub upstairs, great art work, fun and warm bonus room, comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms. Be advised that in order to access the bonus room, one must walk DIRECTLY through the upstairs master bedroom. There is no other way to access the room. It would work well if it's your children staying in the bonus room, but probably not in any other circumstance. Since the bonus room doesn't have a bathroom, anyone staying out there must walk through the bedroom to access a bathroom. Also, as a side note, there was no smell to the fridge (as posted previously by another guest) so that problem has been remedied."
