"Home was spacious and worked well for our family. Was dissapointed to find the lawn unmowed (grass really tall and seeded out)
which put a damper on the backyard use. Didn't use the hot tub since some jets didn't work. Could have been cleaner and better maintained. Overall a lovely location and house but needs some deep cleaning and maintenance."

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely property for five nights and deem it to be the best VRBO we've ever experienced. We stepped out of the car and were greeted by four new friends, chickens of all different colors and personalities! Located on 11 peaceful acres of well-maintained grounds, we experienced beautiful sunsets and many delightful places to explore, including the historical cabin, lush lilac bushes and colorful poppies. Located just minutes from Bozeman, there's access to restaurants and shopping as well as many off the beaten path places to hike and explore. Inside the farmhouse, we were greeted by an amazing glimpse into the past life of generations of families and their stories. It's a bit like a museum but with all the modern amenities, making the stay comfortable and relaxing. Cook a meal, grill a steak, or just kick back and sip wine under the shade of the back yard as the Montana sunset fades. Cool nights and sunny days made the home comfortable and pleasant at all hours. It's a great place for a family with lots of room inside and out or for middle age to older couples who want a quiet spot away from it all. Oh, and you won't want to miss the spa experience of the large claw foot tub!
The owners, Marleen and Alice answered all our questions about local places to visit. The provided breakfast of fresh eggs and fruit was wonderful and the two sisters are some of the kindest folks I think we've ever met...so proud of the Farmhouse that is their heritage. We'll be back soon!!!"

"My husband, my dog, and I took a baby moon vacation to Bozeman, MT for a weekend stay. We had a fantastic time staying at the Bird's Nest. The Bird's Nest was very clean and was decorated so well. It was kind of unusual... reminding us of our home in Joshua Tree, CA. The home has 2 bedrooms, one up a very steep ladder, and the other down a very steep flight of stairs. However, I was 7 months pregnant at the time of our trip and could manage both just fine. Just be careful and hold onto the railings!
The Bird's Nest is also located very close to the main street of Bozeman, which we found to be an excellent location. It is also a block away from an off-leash friendly dog park. The tree lined streets have ample sidewalks and it was nice to just walk our dog around the neighborhood. At the time of our stay, the leaves were changing colors, which just added more charm to the entire area.
Stacie was a perfect host. Giving us our privacy, but available by phone, e-mail, or messaging at any time. Stacie came by and provided us more firewood one evening, which was super nice and helpful. We used the backyard fire pit to make s'mores one evening. She also left us a hammock for relaxing in the large backyard. I really enjoyed both of those activities!
Overall, we highly recommend staying at the Bird's Nest when looking for a place in Bozeman, MT. Thanks Stacie for all your hospitality!
Sincerely, Brandi & Paul"
